My fiance and I want to get some inexpensive but nice wedding bands to wear in stead of our regular ones....for example something we can take on our honeymoon and not have to worry about being lost or stolen. Just plain/simple silver bands... any suggestion where i might find those with out breaking the bank?

If you go to Super Wal-Mart of just the regular Wal-Mart they have alot of rings and other jewelry there they even have bands depending on the location. There not expensive at all. Hope this helps!!!! ;)

My husband and I got our wedding bands from Reed's Jewelers in summer of 2005. They are scratched and scuffed up quite a bit. Will it cost anything to take them in to have them cleaned and buffed?

It may sound strange now, but our grandparents use to make rings out of silver coins; see the YouTube video below.Use a quarter or half dollar from 1964 or earlier (90% silver is almost sterling). Use a spoon instead of a hammer (it takes longer but the ring will warp less and be rounder). You may find that your handmade rings are more special than expensive store-bought bands.Wishing you a lifetime of happy years together...

Question : What are you engraving on your wedding bands?
We just bought our wedding bands this past weekend, the wedding is 3 months away. Not sure if we should engrave them or not. The thing is, my ring was super expensive (my fiance was adamant on me having that specific one) so we wound up getting him a tungsten ring for now to save money and are planning to upgrade him to platinum too on our 1 year anniversary. Should we even bother getting them engraved if we are planning on changing his ring? Also, my engagement ring is not engraved, if that makes any difference.Thanks!
