Buy a bridal/wedding set! It saves you money and time! A bridal or wedding set is the engagement ring and wedding ring for the woman sold as 1 together. You can pull them apart and they are made to clip together. And they match!Buy the bridal set and give the engagement ring to the woman and then tell her you already have the matching wedding ring for it.An engagement ring is a ring given to propose (1 ring by itself. This is the BLING ring. The one with a big diamond 1-2 cts). A wedding ring is plainer looking. Might have diamonds but wont have any big diamonds like the engagement ring does.A wedding band is the same as wedding ring except a band usually means it doesnt have diamonds. And a wedding band is what they call a man's wedding ring.If you get engaged trust me buy the bridal set. ONLY get a bridal set!My engagement ring was about (without the center diamond in it) 2,000 dollars and then another 2,000 to find a matching wedding ring to go with it. Are there any secrets out there about how to get the best deals on platinum engagement/bridal sets? We don't have the most money but want to get the most bang for our buck.

we got my rings on jewelrytelevision.com they are beautiful and i would never want another ring :) we were skeptical at first because i had only used them for gemstone jewelry...but their diamonds are great (remember that a round diamond cut will have more sparkle and hide inclusions better) they will also do an appraisal for like $50...we didn't get one because he didn't have time and it takes 2 more weeks...but we did get it appraised somewhere else at almost 3x what we paid :) anyways, check them out and good luck!!!

As far as industry pricing goes, Zales is actually VERY reasonable. They're also able to offer lifetime jewelry guarantees and that's incredibly valuable. The trade-up option on diamond rings is another nice thing about Zales, and they offer a private line of credit. They will have a permanent clearance section on, and they ALWAYS have storewide sales going on. There is a semi-annual bridal event and it's usually around Valentine's day and late summer. In the next few weeks you'll see the Christmas sale pricing starting to take place. Check back now and then for tax free events, an extra 10% off storewide sales, etc. I work for Peoples, which is a Canadian division of Zales, and our sale went on this past Thursday. If you find something you love and buy it, and it goes on sale after you buy it, you have a 100 day return or exchange policy.

my boyfriend n i were looking at rings n came accross some gorgeous bridal sets. we were wondering how these work.... wen he proposes would he just give the engagement ring then on the wedding day (wud i still wear the engagement ring and take it off during the service to ensure the right order of rings) and then keep the final piece for the birth of our first child.....is that right or do ya just get given the whole lot together at some point?

2 of the rings are wedding bands (one for you; one for hubby) and the other ring is an engagement ring. I think that trios are more for when you get engaged without a ring and then buy one...I'm not totally sure, though.
