Question : Looking for Bridal Sets ( Engagement ring with wedding band)?
I Asked this question a few minutes ago, & all answers were Sort of helpful, But i should have said i was looking for The bridal Sets ( that is The engagement & wedding rings that go together. or a 2 or 3 piece set. together) My Profile pic is something like i had in mind. this is what i wanted.I Don't want Cubic zirconia, Because as nice as they look, My husband tells me they really are not worth it in the long run. we have never had real rings, just the Fake Toy type, Or walmart brand that did not last. i Don't want my finger turning green again ( that happened with the CZ) I am not looking for a high priced ring, just a real one, Possibly no more then say $800 dollars & lower. Im picky about what style I want & it being real, but not picky about the price. it could be $200 & i would be fine, so long as it was real. every fake ring i have owned was either worn with time & broke, or Turned me green. Can anyone give me suggestions? we have never been able to afford rings. ( my hubby has gotten me, Costume jewelery which i loved but...again.. for our 7th wedding anniversary, i would like to finally Invest in Something. Question : How does bridal sets work ?
If u have a lil ceremony now and then a big formal ceremony a yr later - does he give u the big diamond first and wait to give u the wedding band at the 2nd ceremony ? We are new at this.

It's up to you but I think you should exchange wedding bands at your first wedding, as this is when you are legally married. Don't think of your second, larger wedding as the be-all-and-end-all, it is the marriage that counts.I wouldn't want to be married for a year but be thinking the whole time 'well it doesn't reeeally count because we don't have wedding rings and I haven't had my big wedding'.Maybe you could even get an eternity ring at your second ceremony? Then you can have both!

Some guys do get engagement rings, or bands, but we didn't go with that. Usually, guys don't.A bridal set is when you buy the engagement ring and wedding ring together. Sometimes it'll save you money, but it might not. You just have to look around different jewelers and sales.An engagement ring is purely an engagement ring. You can even look at some websites if you'd like to see the differences. Go through a wedding magazine and look up some of the websites or go to kay.com, jared.com, etc.

Are there any secrets out there about how to get the best deals on platinum engagement/bridal sets? We don't have the most money but want to get the most bang for our buck.

we got my rings on jewelrytelevision.com they are beautiful and i would never want another ring :) we were skeptical at first because i had only used them for gemstone jewelry...but their diamonds are great (remember that a round diamond cut will have more sparkle and hide inclusions better) they will also do an appraisal for like $50...we didn't get one because he didn't have time and it takes 2 more weeks...but we did get it appraised somewhere else at almost 3x what we paid :) anyways, check them out and good luck!!!

Buy a bridal/wedding set! It saves you money and time! A bridal or wedding set is the engagement ring and wedding ring for the woman sold as 1 together. You can pull them apart and they are made to clip together. And they match!Buy the bridal set and give the engagement ring to the woman and then tell her you already have the matching wedding ring for it.An engagement ring is a ring given to propose (1 ring by itself. This is the BLING ring. The one with a big diamond 1-2 cts). A wedding ring is plainer looking. Might have diamonds but wont have any big diamonds like the engagement ring does.A wedding band is the same as wedding ring except a band usually means it doesnt have diamonds. And a wedding band is what they call a man's wedding ring.If you get engaged trust me buy the bridal set. Question : bridal sets?
my boyfriend n i were looking at rings n came accross some gorgeous bridal sets. we were wondering how these work.... wen he proposes would he just give the engagement ring then on the wedding day (wud i still wear the engagement ring and take it off during the service to ensure the right order of rings) and then keep the final piece for the birth of our first child.....is that right or do ya just get given the whole lot together at some point?

2 of the rings are wedding bands (one for you; one for hubby) and the other ring is an engagement ring. I think that trios are more for when you get engaged without a ring and then buy one...I'm not totally sure, though.
