Of course not!! Why just buy something identical to what you already have, when you have the opportunity to get something different? Unless of course, the plan was to have two matching wedding bands to start.An anniversary ring can be anything, even a new "engagement" style ring or right-hand ring. It by no means needs to match anything that s/he already owns.

Your engagment ring should be what you want. If you feel that a 3 stone ring represents you and your relationship then by all means get it. It doesn't matter what others think its about you and your fiance. Get what you want because if not you may regret it.

Try Pawn Shops. Cheap prices, stuff you won't find anywhere else. My husband found the perfect ring for me for our anniversary, as a replacement for my ring that got stolen. I love the new ring way better that the original one.
