Question : What is the difference between a sweetheart ring and a promise ring? How many rings are supposed to be given?
Ok, so my boyfriend wants to give me a promise ring, but my sister told him that first he is supposed to give me a sweetheart ring. She is saying that there are supposed to be four rings before marriage. The sweetheart ring, the promise ring, the engagement ring, and then the wedding bands.

Sweetheart and promise rings are just made up marketing things. There is no tradition of having 4 rings before marriage. People used to only get wedding bands only not so long ago and no engagement ring. If he wants to give you a promise ring, go for it, but that is for sure just a thing that high school students do, not adults. Forget about sweetheart rings, LOL.

Question : What is the symbolism behind purity rings and engagement rings?
Just got a purity ring and sticking to it. I understand what each ring means but I heard this cool story about how when you are walking down the aisle getting ready to say your I dos, your to-be husband removes your purity ring and puts on the other rings. Question : How do I properly exchange wedding rings if bride has a band set?
My soon to be wife's wedding ring is a 2 piece set: engagement ring and a wedding band. How do I exchange rings during the ceremony? Should she already have the engagement ring on, and I just add the wedding band? Or should both her engagement ring and wedding band be on the ring pillow and I put both on her? If so, one at a time or simultaneously?

I'm assuming they aren't soldered together. They are still 2 seperate pieces. There are a couple options for the engagement ring during the ceremony.Now, for the most part, the wedding band goes on the bottom of the finger with the engagement ring ontop (some old tradition of it being closest to your heart) So for the engagement ring:1. She can hand it to her MOH to hold during the ceremony and put it back on right after.2. She can put it on her right hand and put it back on the proper finger afterwards (this is what I'm doing)3. She can leave it on and just switch them around afterwards.4. She can put it on the ring pillow and have you put both on her hand. Personally I'm not a fan of this way because you give her the engagement ring when you propose and the wedding band when you marry. One should not be given at the opposite time. Does that wording make sense? lol

Both are ridiculous. Purity and chastity should be in your heart, not worn on your finger (or sleeve!)

Or should stats like points, steals, assists, blocks, rebounds and all the other stats compared to the rest of the league be what really matters? Yes, when talking about superstars who obviously led their team to greatness. I dont hear anybody saying that Michael Jordan is over rated....even though he had one of the best supporting casts in history. Scottie Pippen, a Top 50 great and Dennis Rodman, one of the best rebounder/defensive players to ever play the game. That teams defense was so good it wasnt even funny. But thats because hes retired now and considered "untouchable"...plus he is no longer a threat to Lebron James. When Kobe and Lebron get talked about...all of a sudden championships dont matter(LMAO) So i guess these guys are playing for charity then? For cookies????? Are you going to remember that Lebron had a triple double against the Knicks 10 years from now? Or are you more likely to remember that Kobe dropped 81 points within 45 minutes and led his team to 4 championships? Yeah thats what i thought....i rest my case.

Oh my goodness. I have been obsessed with cute classy rings lately. I was going to check out Claire's or Icing but they have tacky rings for Tweens. The best places I went to were Target and Walmart. Suprisingly Walmart had MUCH nicer rings that Target and they didnt look fake at all. Even the ones with Jewels looked very clean and polished. Question : What types of wedding rings should I get to compliment my everlon knot engagement ring?
My fiance bought me a everlon knot ring to propose with and we have been looking at wedding rings to compliment it. It has ,of course, the everlon knot on it and is white gold. Question : What do you do with the rings during the wedding ceremony if there's no flower girl or ring bearer?
There are simply no small children under the age of 11 in our families that could be the flower girl and ring bearer in our wedding. What happens with the rings if this is the case? Does the best man carry the ring pillow? Does the maid of honor do something? I have no idea what to do!

The best man carries them. He carries them instead of the Maid of Honor because he has pockets and she does not.There is no ring pillow for the Best Man, they just go in his pocket. Also, you never give the ring bearer the real rings, children can't be trusted with something so important.
