OK, but not great

The color is very pretty, the seed beads are fine, but the larger beads look a bit cheap. Wearing this necklace with another one may improve the overall look. For the price, it at least adds a bit of color to an everyday, running around sort of outfit.

Nice casual necklace

I ordered this necklace because it's simple and casual. The price is appropriate for the quality.
The chain is pretty, but it's very fine and cuts (not literally) into my my skin. I will replace the chain.

when worn with the other necklaces that it is supposed to go with, it gets EASILY tangled... I also tried doubling up the necklace and it did OK, but once again it did get a little tangled up.

Not what I was expecting

This necklace is a pretty necklace, but it is definitaly a lot darker than what this picture shows. I don't like it quite as much. It's definitely more fall like than spring like. Oh well, maybe I should put a picture up of what it really looks like so people know :)

Basically as depicted

When I received this necklace, I thought it was more or less as the picture showed. My only complaint is that the beads are both clunkier and quite a bit darker than I thought they would be (namely the green), so it is less summery. The design is basically the same, I just wasn't particularly impressed with the colors. Gave it a 4/5 instead of 3/5 because I figure it's just not quite my taste.

Question : Why is there such a difference between White Collar and Blue Collar in America?
When I was a kid, my Dad liked to watch people with me while sitting on a bench at a park. Hundreds of people would walk by and my Dad would ask us to guess what type of work they did. He would tell us the differences between white collar and blue collar workers. He was not judgemental but showed us how differently white collar and blue collar workers carried themselves, dressed, cut their hair, clothed themselves and spoke. It was a study in human nature.Why are white collar and blue collar Americans so different?

There are different expectations and work norms for each class respectively. I think this sets the mold. Although I have a masters and work for a corporation, my tie and demeanor is misleading because I grew up with a blue-collar family and relax like that when off work. I think all people are the same but play the proper roles when required. The problem with your dad's observation is that is is biased to perceptions of work environments, not actual individual behavior. He did not know the person's occupation, so his notions of behavior are meaningless for the sake that someone behaving a certain way could have been a blue collar worker and he didn't know because he didn't truly know their occupation. This is bad observation and not conducive to social psychology. Their occupations would have to be accounted for for their idiosyncrasies to be considered. All in all, while maybe trying to make a point, it was judgmental as he holds certain prejudices in his mind. Bill gates has been known to dress un flattering while taking coach on an airplane - he has a lazy gait that presents lack of confidence and weakness, but he is the richest, white-collar man in the world (maybe 2nd, or 3rd now).

Question : How can i tell if my dogs collar is too tight ?

Why dont you consider getting your dog a harness that fits around his body and chest? Then you dont have to worry about whether the collar is too tight.

Be aware that if you use a collar to train your dog not to bark, that is her way of alerting you to danger, and you will train her not to do that. Therefore, she may not alert you to an intruder in your house or yard, or imminent danger and the like. Think about this before you train her natural ways out of her.

Once you put a collar on a cat, it will have a "ring" around its neck for the rest of its life. It also gives a predator purchase; in other words a dog or coyote or other animal can trap the cat by grabbing its collar, as can a cat thief. Bells offer little protection to prey, as cats stalk, bells don't ring...except in the middle of the night when you're trying to sleep.If you feel it is absolutely crucial that your cat have a collar to identify it as belonging to someone when outside, then go with a reflective white collar that can be easily seen on the cat, particularly to passing motorists whizzing by your street. try cold water and use woolite. the kind that keeps your colors longer. It's a little pricey, but only use it for those shirts.

I can fit my finger under my Pomeranian's collar, but when I take his collar off he seems so relieved. Could his collar be too small? You should be able to fit two fingers, but dont have it lose enough for it to fit over the dogs ears.

Question : What is the best training collar that doesnt use the prongs?
I have a 9 month old chow or shar pei/Lab mix. She's been fixed also. She pulls and breaks the snap collars. She pulls harder on the regular harnesses. She also chokes herself on a regular collar. We've done training and she has everything down but heeling.

Answer:
Have you used a regular choke collar on her? I use Herm Sprenger chokes here. If you get a choke, stay away from the made in Taiwan chokes. The Sprenger chokes are sturdy. Only use the choke for training. You probably need to go to an obedience school with her and they can show you the proper way to put the choke on, and how to use it higher up behind the ears when you have a dog that you want to listen to you. When a choke is used propery, it can be a very good tool.
