I would suggest either fetters or bindings.Rope is usually made from hemp, so you could have "hempen ties".Worn out old rope would be cord or string or certain TV comedies.

Check your local pawn shops for chains, you might find soemthing for cheaper but it will not be under market value unless you find a dumb shop. For a big chain like that your looking at like $1300ish for hollow and an obscene amount of money if you want it not hollow.
