Beautiful

They are gorgeous! I originally bought these as a gift for a friend but when I received them I couldn't bear to part with them! They are small, but very elegant. I can see how the bracelet would be almost too small on someone who has larger wrists or hands, but because I have a relatively small wrist, it was just right for me! The one problem is that I was expecting them to be a much darker blue, almost black. When I got them they were more of a medium navy color. Its important to know that colors will vary.

Picture does not do them justice

I ordered the pearl set for my bridesmaids to wear for my wedding. The picture of them does not do them justice. They are beautiful! They have a good weight, and are fairly uniform. I liked them so much that I turned around and bought a set for myself. A very nice set for the price.

PLEASTENTLY SUPRISED

I had read threw the reviews many times before I decided to buy this product for my bridesmaids. They were the perfect size and matched the dresses perfectly. I highly recommend these to anyone, I wish I would have bought a set for myself. They were bigger than I thought they would be. :)

She Loved It!!!

the color wasn't was dark as pictured.

I bought this set for a real good friend of mine for Christmas. I let it slip that i bought her some jewelry, and ever since she got on me for probably being cheap and how they will turn her skin green. So i was worried she wouldn't like them. When i gave them to her, she was practically speechless, she loved them, and hasn't taken out the earrings since. would recommend to anyone looking for some nice affordable jewelry.

great deal

I ordered 3 sets for my bridesmaids in gray and they got lost in shipping. When I told silverspeck about it they shipped me out 3 new sets in a new color (upon my request) and it arrived in 3 days. They are absolutely beautiful and I could not be happier. This is a great gift for bridesmaids.

14k Yellow Gold Akoya Cultured Pearl 6.5-7mm Necklace and Stud Earring Set 14k Yellow Gold Akoya Cultured Pearl 6.5-7mm Necklace and Stud Earring Set
Price : $199.00 $89.99

Average Customer Rating :

Editorial Review :

Project radiance and sophistication in this gorgeous Akoya cultured pearl necklace and stud earring set. Lustrous round Akoya cultured pearls, with a diameter range of 6.5 to 7mm, are individually knotted on silk cord to form the 18-inch necklace. This classic pearl strand is finished with a fancy filigree clasp, in radiant and durable 14 karat yellow gold. The matching stud earrings also feature round 6.5-7mm Akoya cultured pearls, with 14 karat yellow gold posts and backings.

These are fine quality round pearls, well-matched for size, shape and color, with light blemishing and a beautiful deep luster. Their color is white-rosé--in other words, white but with a slight rosy hue. Akoya cultured pearls are produced in salt-water mollusks in Japan and China. They were the first type of pearl to be cultured, back in the 1920s, and remain the most popular and classic choice for pearl strands. Akoya cultured pearls are prized for their smoothness, roundness, and gorgeous deep luster. Though they may look similar to freshwater cultured pearls, when the two are placed side-by-side, the Akoya pearl's superior qualities are clear.

A traditional pearl strand and matching pearl stud earrings are a versatile addition to any woman's fine jewelry collection. They will complement everything from a daytime professional outfit to an evening cocktail dress, and their timeless beauty ensures they will look as classy and elegant years from now as they do today.

Customer Review :

Loved at first, but then...

The pearls were lovely, and matched well. A lovely color, and with only minor imperfections. I was so happy at first and tossed all the packaging, sure I would not regret this purchase. Then, on the third time wearing the necklace the cord that threaded the pearls frayed and tore, leaving it unable to be worn, or returned. I was sorely disappointed. Perhaps it was just my item, but be aware when purchasing. I still think the pearls were a steal, and good quality, but I'm upset that I have to take it to a jeweler now to have it repaired, incurring more costs.

Not bad for the price

These pearls were cute and a very good shape. However, the knotting close to the clasp got unraveled and I was afraid the whole thing would come undone. Had to send them back (was very sad that I couldn't keep the earrings at least). Otherwise really pretty pearls, very few flaws.

Clueless man buying for his beautiful wife

Goal: get her a gift SHE wants. That's a thought, huh, guys? The trouble is we get anxiety, because it's not something we know much about. So I just talked with her and listened and learned ...about her. With some reading and a little shopping, this chicken was willing to buck up.

My wife says, "I love them!" Yay, a big move on my part. I was scared of buying this (especially online), because firstly I know nothing about jewelry, and my wife used to work as Borsheim's Fine Jewelry. I did do a lot of research before buying these... but you know, at the price, I was very willing to be brave.

Tried getting her something she'll wear at least once. Guess what? She wears it all time time! Yippy for us!

"As long as somebody doesn't get up in your face, they won't notice the imperfections." I have a "for real" wife, who understands... where they come from. They're natural. Some are going to be more perfect than others. But we can't afford thousands on jewelry.

This goes with practically anything she wears and it really shows how beautiful she is. Just now, we listened to "What a Beautiful Mess" by Jason Mraz, highlighting our growing together over this brave lil' click at Amazon... Silly, ok a bit. A few tears on her side, but some man tears on my side. So guys, sure beats buying her a bowling ball, toe-socks, or another DVD for a stocking stuffer.

Why 5 stars? For the price, it's perfect, so 5 stars.

BEAUTIFUL PEARLS

The necklace and earrings are absolutely beautiful!! I have been looking for an Akoya pearl necklace, that is affordable, for a long time and finally I found one...plus earrings! I cannot believe that they cost so little...I also brought a set for my daughter(for her 3 year old son to give her for Christmas). I highly recommend this Akoya cultured pearl necklace and stud earrings set!

Pretty Pearls

They were delivered fast. I ordered 10 sets for my bridesmaids. They colors of each set were all the same and the pearls were all the same size. They were petite in size, but that was what I was exactly what I was looking for. These pearl sets are going to look very pretty on my girls!

Perfect!

This item arrived just in time for my mother's birthday! Also, the pink pearls are stunning! They are the perfect size and color! They look beautiful on anyone who wears them!

Hmm, Not impressed

Sure, it's a $10 set originally listed at $50. If I had paid $50 for it though, I would be writing a much more scathing review. For ten bucks though you have to expect it might be too good to be true. The jewelry has a nice weight, the pearls are pretty, mine are definitely a more pink than the ones shown. Making them look a little a cheaper in my mind. At both ends of the clasp there is knotted white threading visible on the bracelet and necklace. The silver bends pretty easily so go gentle with it. For ten bucks not a bad deal I guess. Glad I didn't pay more for it. Oh and it arrived stamped "POSTAGE DUE."

Very Pretty, Worth the Money

I bought these pearls for my bridal party to wear in my wedding in April. They are of a good weight and the pearls are all about the same size and shape with few irregularities. They are well worth the price for a full set and will look beautiful on my bridesmaids!

Question : Do any jewelry stores or pawn shops buy titanium wedding band sets?
I have a man/woman matching wedding band set, made of titanium. I'm hearing from pawn shops that they only buy gold. Are there any stores that would buy a titanium wedding band set?

Answer:
Titanium wedding bands are certainly nice pieces of jewelry, but their actual value to a pawn shop are limited. Titanium, although highly desirable for rings, tools, knives, cookware, and a host of other items, is actually not a very pricey metal. Depending on the type of titanium alloy, it sells for roughly $18/lb to $40/lb.In contrast, a single ounce of pure gold (equivalent to 1/16 of a pound) sells for around $1,200 and a single ounce of pure silver sells for about $18-$20. Thus, an ounce of silver is worth roughly 10 times more money than an ounce of titanium... and an ounce of gold is worth roughly 700 times more than the same quantity of titanium. So, although people really enjoy a ring made of titanium since it is rather unique, the fact of the matter is that titanium isn't worth anywhere near what gold and silver can fetch. This poses a problem for pawn shops. Ordinarily, a pawn shop will buy a piece of jewelry according to its gold or silver weight. They buy at a price which will allow them to make a decent profit even if the items were immediately melted down and sold as bricks. If certain pieces of jewelry look particularly nice, they will try to sell them for a certain percentage more than what they could get if they melted them down. If the jewelry sits in the case for a long time without selling, however, eventually the pawn shop will just pull the item off the shelf and "send it to the melt".In the case of your titanium rings, they have a pretty decent retail value... but they have almost no melt value at all. An ounce of titanium isn't worthless, but at only $2 to $5... it might just as well be to a pawn shop.So if a pawn shop were to buy your rings, they'd have to cross their fingers that somebody will stroll through their store and buy them out of the display case. If not, the pawn shop doens't really have the option of melting them down and the jewelry becomes a loss for that shop. That's why the majority of pawn shops won't really bother with titanium. Titanium is one of those metals that jewelers make a WHOLE TON OF MONEY selling, even though the metal itself isn't worth very much at all.

Question : What do others charge for jewelry sets?
i would like to start making jewelry and selling via congsignment at a local store. I was wanting to get an idea of what others charge for sets, that would include bracelet, neclace and earings, lso what you charge for individual pieces. i know to put in the cost of the materials and everything. This is just for a little bit of side project.sorry misspelled Consignment

Answer:
It's going to depend on the materials, originality and skill level. Google exactly what you are making, and you should get a good idea of what others are charging..

Question : i have latest summer fashion jewelry sets for sale very cheap but dont know where to sell?
i live in fayetteville georgia ..i dont know many people around here ..please help me with where i can get in touch with interested buyers ..i have very nice jewelry at wholesale price like $3 for each set

Answer:
Sell them at festivals and flea markets.

Question : How much would you pay for this jewelry set?
Okay, so I am thinking about starting a jewelry home business but I am not sure how much to sell my jewelry for. This is my first ever set I made. Tell me how much you would buy this for.http://pic80.picturetrail.com/VOL2123/11900246/21149031/347216054.jpgthat is the link to the picture:)It is sterling silver and it is the beads GLASS not plastic.

Answer:
I sell a line very similar to to your idea/concept. It sells very well and is priced at $20 - 75. Depends on the quality of the craftsmanship and materials used to be priced so highly. So determining the cost of materials used and labor can be doubled or tripled to get an idea for your initial items.(Bold necklaces and bracelets are in right now, but you might remove the large lavender balls at the bottom or make them interchangeable)Good Luck

Question : Where can I find nice "imitation" jewelry, like wedding bands and bridal sets?
Does anyone know of any websites that I could order a bridal set that is silver and has cubic Zirconia gems?? I am going on vacation and do not want to wear my real wedding band set. I have fear that I may lose them. And that would be my luck, to lose them on vacation.

Question : Hematite sets in silver jewelry question,?
Thirty years ago it was nothing unusual to see silver rings, ear rings, and bracelets set with hemitites, coral and turquois. Nowdays almost all silver jewelry is set in coral and turquois with no hemitites. Does anyone know why this is occuring and jewelers have quit using hemitites in jewelry?

Answer:
Could it be that the properties of hematite are not compatible with the other stones due to the magnetic properties of hematite?Other wise I haven't noticed hematite or turquoise set with gold?(Drawn from experience but credentials are below)
