Editorial Review :

Add sparkle and variety to your wardrobe with this set of five individually boxed sterling silver stud earrings, showcasing five different colored gemstones. Now you can wear a different pair of earrings for each day of the work week, or more closely match the colors of your couture. The set includes one pair each of generously sized peridot, blue topaz, garnet, citrine, and amethyst studs. The total combined weight of all ten gemstones is 8.25 carats.

  • The 6.67mm round peridot studs have a striking lime green color and a total weight of 1.6 carats. These "evening emeralds" as the Romans called them, are gorgeous in both natural and artificial light.
  • The 6.97mm by 5.20mm faceted ovals of blue topaz are a beautiful sky blue and have a total weight of 1.9 carats. December's birthstone is perfectly complemented by the cool gleam of polished silver.
  • The pear-shaped garnets are a deep brownish-red. They measure 7.13mm by 5.97mm and have a total weight of 1.6 carats. The birthstone for those born in January, garnet boasts a notable brilliance due to its high refraction of light.
  • The rectangular grapefruit-yellow citrines measure 7.95mm high by 5.63mm wide and have a total weight of 1.9 carats. Named for the French word for lemon (citron), this gemstone was revered as a gift from the sun in ancient times and is one of two birthstones for November.
  • The trillion-shaped amethysts measure 6.40mm high by 7.09mm wide and have a total weight of 1.25 carats. They display a captivating light purple color. Amethyst has long been prized by royalty because of its regal hue. It is the birthstone for those born in February.
  • The five pairs of gems are cradled in sterling silver wire baskets with decorative scroll-like curves and a beautiful polished finish. They are featured on posts with butterfly friction backs.

    Editorial Review :

No fine jewelry collection is complete without a classic pair of pearl stud earrings. This exceptional pair showcases round white AAA Akoya cultured pearls, well-matched for size, shape and color. The pearls have a diameter of 7.5-8mm and are featured on posts with clutch backings, both made from bright and durable 14 karat yellow gold. These are fine quality pearls--smooth and nearly flawless, with a beautiful high luster.

Akoya cultured pearls are produced in salt-water mollusks in Japan and China. They were the first type of pearl to be cultured, back in the 1920s, and remain the most popular and classic choice for pearl jewelry today. Akoya cultured pearls are prized for their smoothness, roundness, and gorgeous deep luster. Though they may look similar to freshwater cultured pearls, when the two are placed side-by-side, the Akoya pearl's superior qualities are evident.

    Questions & Answers
Question : Is diamond stud earrings to much for a 1 year anniversary?
I was planning to buy my girlfriend diamond stud earrings for our 1 year anniversary spending between 400-600. I was wondering if that would be to much to do since I already did buy her a necklace and bracelet for previous occassions. To much in the sense of spoiling her and by the way what size should would look good on her 1/3 or 1/2 t.w for a 5'4 height 110 lb person.

    Answer:
get her the biggest..... purest oines the store gotz

Question : How to buy diamond stud earrings?
I would like to buy my girlfriend a pair of diamond stud earrings. Two questions, do you think she'll appreciate them? Where can I spend up to $2000 and get the best deal for my money?

    Answer:
Ian, I expect she will absolutely love a pair of diamond stud earrings. They are an exquisite gift and likely to go with anything and everything she wears. Here are some tips that you should consider:-Are you clear on the interplay between the 4 Cs that determine both the brilliance in terms of how much your diamonds sparkle and the intrinsic value and therefore cost.-Have you thought about the setting that the diamonds will be held in-What sort of metal will you be going for, the most popular these days is either platinum or white gold. Yellow gold is a little dated and less popular-Given your budget what size diamond will you be purchasing. Bigger is not always better, particularly if the quality of the cut or the number of imperfections is highIf you can be clear in your own mind about some of the issues above than I'm sure you'll make a very successful purchase and your girlfriend will be very pleased. I would expect you'll get your best cost deal by buying online, you may however loose out on the customer service and personal service angle. There's a great little resource where you can continue your education, buy some discount diamond earrings or amazingly design your own diamond stud earrings. Question : Why do my black diamond stud earrings test as being moissanite?
All my other diamond jewelry tested as being real diamonds. Just wondering why my 1/2 carat black diamond stud earrings test as being moissanite? Could it have to do with it being black or any treatments done to stone? I use the Oris Nelson DiamondNite Tester (dual), it tests for diamond simulants, diamonds, and moissanite.I read or heard some where that it could be cause of the stone treatment. Can anyone confirm this?

    Answer:
Sometimes readers can give false readings if they're not at the right temperature (too cold or too hot). This is because to test a stone, they use 'heat' based technology (basicly put). Also make sure that the tip of the test is definitely touching the stone itself - and not any other part of your earring.I can't recall any diamond treatment which would make it appear as a Moissanite stone, especially as the testers work by testing the stones heat conductivity, which shouldn't be affected by any coating. Also maybe try another tester? It could be intermittently faulty. Also try changing the batteries - they can give odd readings when the batteries are low. Finally, you could take it to a jeweller who knows their stuff - and knows how to spot Moissanite (double refraction).Ideally find a jeweller who sells diamond AND moissanite - as they'll be experienced with both :)

Question : Where do guys get the diamond stud earrings?
Im 14.Just pierced both my ear lobes.Looking for those diamond stud earrings that cover most of the ear lobe. Stores at my mall : Claires/Khols/Target/Additional Kiosks. Those are all I can think of that have that diamond stud.

    Answer:
<3 Those are exactly the stores where you can get one(:

Question : How do I stick stud earrings on a bear as a surprise gift to my gf?
I bought stud earrings for my gf. But I was planning to put them on a teddy bear's ears as a different way to present them as a gift. But how should I go about putting them on the bear cause they are stud earrings and I dont want to ruin them.

    Answer:
Try making a hole with a needle a little bit bigger than the post and sticking the earrings through there.

Question : Which diamond stud earrings to purchase?
Buying earrings for my girlfriend. I already got her some nice diamond hoops but want to purchase another small diamond stud set for the other hole in her ear. I have to go a lil cheaper on the studs so I have the option of a .4ctw with G-H color quality or a .5ctw J-K color quality. They will be set in yellow gold. Are the color differences between a GH and JK that noticeable at these small sizes, especially when placed in yellow gold? What would your choice be? Thanks.

    Answer:
Your girl will love either one you buy. As a woman I would prefer a bigger size than clarity. No one will be able to notice the difference.

Question : How do you wear black stud earrings?
I just bought a pair of black onyx stone, sterling silver stud earrings. I really like them but I'm afraid I appear goth wearing them since they're black stone. How should I pair them (with clothes, other jewelry, etc) to make them not appear goth? Thanks so much for the help!

    Answer:
Wear them with something with sparkles on it or black and white floral.... or wear a black shirt and white capris. That is what I do and I am not goth and I look super cute all the time i think.... lol :) hope i helped you!!

Question : Where can i get good quality men's diamond stud earrings?
I am planning on getting my ears pierced and i wanted to see where i can get nice men's diamond stud earrings! And i would like to hear some opinions on what you think about men with earrings. Thanks!

    Answer:
I used to think men look queer wearing earrings but now I love to see a tall dark man in a white-T, saggy jeans, a hat tilted to the side and two stud earrings. Ohh.If you want to wear earrings they don't have to be real , just take some clear fingernail polish and coat them with it ( prevents exposure to air which causes fading and other deterioration)

Question : What are cute creative ways to give my girlfriend stud earrings?
I need some cute creative ways to give my girlfriend diamond stud earrings as a gift.

    Answer:
First piece of advice: An earring box looks so much like a ring box, she might think you're proposing. So, ditch the box and try not to use a "engagement ring proposal" idea. Okay, now for some cute, creative ways to give her the earrings:1. I like the teddybear idea someone else posted.2. Remove one chocolate from a box of chocolates, and put the earrings in the paper cup. When she opens the box of chocolates, ta-da!3. Hang them near a sunny window and when she walks in, the room will be covered with rainbows--surprise! When she tries to figure out why, she'll spot the earrings.4. Tie ear earring to something closely related but not located in the same place (like a jelly jar in the refrigerator and the peanut butter jar somewhere else). When she finds the first one, she'll probably quickly guess where the second one is--but we all like to feel smart, so that's a nice feeling.5. Wrap each in a Hershey's kiss wrapper. Mix with a (small) bowl of real Hershey's kisses. Give the bowl of chocolates as a gift...but at a time when she'll be hungry enough to eat them.6. Take her out for dinner. As you're about to leave where she lives, look at her ears and say, "Oh, those earrings?" She might ask which you expected her to wear. You say something like, "Those really shiny ones." She doesn't know what you mean. She might even go look at her other earrings and ask which you meant. Then you surprise her with, "Oh! I guess I meant those diamond earrings I gave you for our anniversary!" and hand them over. 7. Sing songs to her about diamonds. When she's finished laughing, give her the earrings. This is especially cute if you're a horrible singer. (Diamond songs are rather girly: Diamond Dolls, Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend, etc.)I hope this helps. And if you are still looking for the diamonds, here's a link to a diamond search engine that compares prices at over a dozen retailers for you.

Question : How long do you have to wait to take your stud earrings out after you got your ears pierced?
I want to take my earrings out soon, because i am already bored with my stud earrings, so how long should i wait to take them out and put different ones in?

    Answer:
You want to be extremely cautious. I wouldn't suggest taking them out for at least a month, but keep a pair of earring in all the time, for almost a year. Also be careful that you don't use heavy earrings too early because my sister's earlobe ripped because she was wearing these dangly earrings. Find some cute colorful studs that look awesome. Try something like, http://www.limitedtoo.com/category/Access/Jewelry and try to keep them clean. Have Fun!!
