Question : post and hinged snap back earrings?
post and hinged snap back earrings?
Answer:
I have a few pairs of earrings with a post and hing and I really like them a lot. They feel a lot more secure and I feel better when I hear that little "snap". I've lost so many earrings because regular backing fall off. Especially since I'm lazy and don't take my earrings off when I sleep, I appreciate these types of backing.

Question : Do You have any piercings?? If So where? & Can you help me?
Does anyone know of ANY sites that actually sell the double hinged helix loops? You know, like the small cartilage loops for your upper ear? I had a couple pair (one gold, one silver) a few years ago that my folks got me that snapped closed one one side and had a small invisible hinge in the middle. It opened into Two connected half circles and closed into a seamless ring. I've since lost the earrings and I've been trying to find some more like them for years. I keep buying different ones I think will work but none are as good. You have to put the thin metal part into the empty side and I hate that. I need something small & relatively plain 'coz I need it to look respectable at work. Can anyone help? I've already been to so many different sites. They originally got them at walmart like 5 yrs ago now. Help????I know this isn't technically the correct section for this question but I'm on this part all the time and didn't feel like searching through the myriads of subjects to post this
Answer:
Bodycandy.com might also have what your looking for.

Question : I bought these earrings ....?
at walmart a while ago and now they stopped selling them . I can't find them anywhere. They are gold, little, full hoop earrings that are hinged right in the middle. But its the clasp that i love, that i also cant find. They clasp into themselves like the continuose ones. But it's actually a clasp not some little wire that goes into an hollowed end. They are just smooth and you can just spin all around in your ear hole nothing to catch on. Please help!
Answer:
Hot Topic sells them as lip rings.they're great.

Question : How to take out really hard hoop earrings?
My mums had these hoop earring in for the past 3ish years and hasn't taken them out because she doesnt know how. They are a perfect circle with a discrete hinge at the bottom. The bar that goes through the ear is soldered to the front and appears to be fused to the back, any amount of pulling and twisting does nothing, except for heart her ear. Please help, my dad forked out a handful for new earrings and she can't wear them :'(Note, the earring isn't fused to the ear lobeThe catch is the problem we don't know how to work it
Answer:
even though it may hurt to pull them out, it MUST be done. it sounds like the skin has grown onto the ear ring. try to soak it with some warm water then all you can do is to rotate the ear ring so it detaches.make sure when you do to buy some piercing cleaner to clean them well and if they bleed, then get some sea salt and dissolve it in warm water and clean it with that too. this helps heal it. you can get ear piercing cleaner at Claire's in the mall for about $12. clean/sea salt it twice a day, when she puts in her new ear rings then make sure to twist them a lot when your hands are clean to avoid skin growing on them again.to get the hoop off her ear, i'm not sure. this isn't very clear. if nothing else is working then cut it off with some plyers. -good luck!

Question : Is a "Certain Segment" of our population over using the "Race Card"?
========================================…I know this has nothing to do with politics, and that I posted it last night (...and thank you to those who did answer validly),but it was so late I did not get many respondents say for a few that were not hinged right like this pervert and stalker who goes by the Yahoo name of "GOAT" something or other. I had to report him to the locals and Yahoo then I was told to take down the original in the mean time, but I digress...... I couldn't find a spot on yahoo answers that this would fit into, plus I know a lot of people come through here so I would like to hear all your views. Please read the whole thing, and yes I know it's long but how can you give a valid answer if you don't know all the information on what happened. Thank you.======================================…My Boyfriend and I were watching my sister's son and were walking around at the mall. He is only three and is curious with everything that he can get his eyes fixed upon. My Jayson and I, as well as my other sisters and parents were blessed to have lived and grew up in a very affluent area. Little Owen was standing by me while we were waiting to pay for some ice cream at the parlor and a Black woman and here daughter walked up behind us. Owen fixed his eyes on her and obviously was intrigued by her, I didn't know why... but I continued to wait. Then out of nowhere, Owen asked the little girl " Are you made of Chocolate ", I looked at Owen and said No, don't ask silly questions. The little girl, who looked about six kind of put her hands to her mouth and giggled, She said No, silly." and then she laughed again. I took it as one of those, "Out of the mouth of babes" things, but the mother got up into my face, put her finger up, did that weird head swivel thing, and started saying. "I don't appreciate your boy making racist remarks against my daughter!". I looked at her like she was mad. I told her he didn't say anything bad, he just asked if she was made of Chocolate, a silly thing that a three year old would say to explain what he sees when he truly doesn't understand. There is a very good chance he never saw a black person before being that our area is probably 99% White and Asian. This woman goes off on the whole racism bit, accusing me, Jayson, and anyone around us at the time for being racist and that in her words "Is obviously something that is taught and accepted in our homes." By this point I had had enough and told her she was being the racist for accusing a little boy (who was now upset thinking he did something wrong), of something so ugly and I told her she need to grow up a little and get off the Race wagon. I told her that she was so into yelling at a three year old boy that her own daughter was crying she was so upset. She did that head wiggle thing, accused me of telling her how to raise her child. She started acting like she was going to take off her earrings. Jayson was trying his best to tell her to calm down she was making a scene and all that. Now I'll admit even though this woman was obviously looking for a racial reason to fight, I should have let it go, but at that moment I was so stunned and mad about her calling my sister's son a racist, I was about to get into it. Never mind I am only 4' 11" and 96 LBS and that she out weighed me by atleast 100 LBS. I just got hot. At this point Jayson saw it was time to end it. He flashed his badge at her and told her to calm down now or he was going to have to arrest her. She then went off on, "Oh yea, white boys got a badge. You must think you can hate black people and when it gets bad have him pull his badge!" Jayson warned her one more time and she took the hint and yanked her daughter by the arm and walked away. Sounded like she said something about "Cracker police..." but I can not be too sure.I just couldn't believe it. Was she seriously thinking that a three year old sat at home all day and thought, well I am going to be a racist today and offend Black people. I mean who does that?Well what do you think, am I wrong for thinking she was a racist in the fact she was using the race card to cause trouble, or was she right that a three year old is a terrible racist bent on joining the Klan.Thank you and I await your answers.
Answer:
She sounds as hyper sensitive as the gal who called Dr Laura.Yes she was wrong, and she has been worked up by the division in this country which has been exacerbated by the Obama presidency.History of US politics has pointed to a preconceived notion that blacks are basically liberals who like entitlement programs. Unfortunately our system has chosen to put the first black president in office who not only conforms to that preconception but is doing so in a very unstable economic period, and many perceive that he is making it worse with his agenda. It is unfortunate that we did not elect someone like Walter Williams as our first black president which may have been a much smoother transition and brought far less racial divisions.

Question : White gold hoop earrings?
Ok so I am on a mission to find these white-gold hoop earrings like the ones I used to have. I have no idea what the type of clasp is called, but basically the part that goes through your ear is on a hinge and attaches to the other side of the earring by sticking into it, not like most hoops that attach to that little U shaped part. I know I am not explaining this well! Basically this reason I like this type is then you can sleep in the earrings without the back of the clasp sticking into the side of your head - it's all tucked inside. Any help with where to find earrings like this or even what the type of clasp is called??

Question : anyone know where to find 12 gauge hinged hoop earrings?
I have continuous captive segment earrings right now and need to be able to remove them for work. I had a smaller pair of hinged hoop earrings at one point, but I want 12 gauge. I am talking the kind that are the same size all the way around. I don't really want to go with the kind you bend open, i'm afraid they will lose their shape over time. Any suggestions?
