Editorial Review :
S&G is a line of stylish fine jewelry crafted with precious gems and diamonds set in sterling silver and 14k gold.
Unlike other processes that feature a thin layer of gold covering an underlying metal, S&G is simply silver and 14k gold; two separate precious metals in two different castings – creating one stunning piece. Throughout history, these two precious metals have been revered by royalty, fashionistas and jewelry aficionados the world over.
Gold has been one of mankind's most valued substances since the beginning of time. Throughout history, great civilizations have built up treasuries of this precious metal, reserving golden objects for their most important rituals and ascribing miraculous powers to it.
The ancient Egyptians equated gold with the sun, the giver of life, and reserved its use for pharaohs only. The Etruscans created meticulously hand-wrought objects using fine granules and threads of gold, a technique still practiced today. The Chinese saw gold as the yang of the sun - with silver representing the moon's ying.
Gold is so soft and malleable that it can be melted and shaped to create virtually any design. But this softness also makes pure gold less than desirable for jewelry usage - which is why it is usually alloyed with other metals such as silver to make it stronger and more durable. 14k gold is 14/24ths gold content, or roughly 58.5% gold and provides the optimum balance between gold content, hardness/durability and affordability.
Silver, once considered more precious than gold, has one of the highest reflectivities of any metal, giving it unmatched brilliance. The precious metal was discovered over 6,000 years ago and was believed to have mystic qualities associated with the power of the sea, moon and lunar goddesses.
Paired with glamorous 14k gold, diamonds and gemstones, S&G’s gold, silver and diamond/gemstones combinations create a dazzling - yet affordable - fine jewelry statement.
The S&G collection features a wide selection of pendants, earrings and rings that blend timeless glamour with elegance and individuality for women who aren’t prepared to compromise on style, quality and affordability.

Question : I want a conservative, classic, balanced look. How many earrings is enough?
I'm almost 19, wear makeup everyday (eyes, lip color 'n a bit of blush, and mineral powder for freckles). I keep my nails done. I wear single earrings, a right-hand ring, usually a necklace (but not always), flats, and I like casual dresses as much as jeans. Should single earrings be enough? I'm really thinking 'bout a 2nd (and mb a 3rd) pair of earrings for a nice accent, but don't want to go overboard and have ears full of holes later on. (I'd wear "diamonds", pearls or gold balls in the 2nds & 3rds.)If u have 2 or 3 holes on each ear, do u still wear stud earrings in the "extra" holes? Or have you gotten away from that look? Why?Pls help me. I know this is minor stuff, but I'm really drawn to multiples for a pretty accent. What do you think????????????
Answer:
I am the same as you except i am 18.I have a double set. I think they look great. I was thinking the same thing as you. In the long run I am so happy that I decided to get them.Usually I wear diamonds in my second set and hoops in my first set.You dont have to I just think it looks better. hoops never look right in a secod set they are too high up.Getting a third set might be a bit much. You do not have to worry about your ears being full of holes because you can close them up at any time. The holes are so small they can be closed up in about a month.Hope this helps.

Question : Diamonds and Pearls mixed?
**Serious answers only please**I know you can mix diamonds and pearls in individual pieces of jewelry and it looks wonderful, but I'm getting my girlfriend a pearl necklace, pearl bracelet, (both strands) and pearl earrings with diamond accents. My question is: Will the earrings look out of place because they are the only piece of the three with diamonds?I know they sell the 3-piece sets, but I've been shopping and researching and I've decided to go a la carte with the three pieces. These are what I'm looking at for the earrings:http://www.zales.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3520598&kpc=1The necklace and bracelet are just your typical strand of pearls.
Answer:
I think they'd go great together. They're pretty earrings - lucky girl!

Question : Sapphire and Diamonds... What matches best?
I'm trying to find the best combination necklace & earrings for my wife. But I cant decide at all on what will match the best, and I know next to nothing about how to properly match jewelery, etc... At first I wanted to go with a sapphire necklace and matching sapphire earrings, but I thought that if she was going to wear a sapphire necklace that it should be the focal point, and the earrings should be more-so something like diamonds. So, out of the three option below, which seems like the best match?1. Sapphire necklace, with two small diamond rounds and sapphire earrings of the same design.2. Sapphire necklace, with small accent diamonds and diamond stud earrings.3. Solitaire diamond necklace and sapphire earrings.(I have no idea if this even matches, but it's an option I'm considering.)Thank you for any and all help!
Answer:
I would suggest that you go to a jewelry store and consult with them. They can show you matched sets or individual pieces that would compliment each other.Personally, I would prefer a necklace with earrings of the same design. The earrings are usually smaller, but take one or two elements from the necklace.I have a necklace and earrings set that my husband bought me. The earrings and necklace complement each other because the design matches, but the necklace is still the focal point.

Question : Where can I find earrings that Rhianna is wearing in a Cover Girl ad?
I have a copy of the Nov. In Style magazine and in it on the 38th page (counting the cover as page 1), there is a Cover Girl ad featuring Rhianna and she is wearing an earring that is exactly what I have been searching for. I know this is so random, but would anybody have any ideas how I can find out where I can get these earrings? They are small pyramid diamond accent studs in gold. I have googled and found a few cute pyramid stud earrings, but they are all a little too edgy for me. The ones Rhianna has are a perfect mix of trend and class! Not the Nov. issue, but the DEC. issue!

Question : Can you mix gold earrings & necklace with a silver ring and silver accent on your wedding dress?
my wedding dress is all lace with swavorski crystals in a diamond shape on the bust. Will it look silly to wear gold jewlery (earrings and necklace) instead of silver? My band is silver and the dress crystals are silver too...i found these earrings that I LOVE but they are gold instead of silver. will this clash or look silly?
Answer:
I wouldn't mix the jewelry colors in this instance. With sparkle on the dress, I would try to match the dress to the jewelry. I think maybe no necklace because you have the crystals on the dress so close to your face. You could wear crystal or white pearl stud earrings though. Save the gold jewelry for your honeymoon...oh and by the way, congratulations!

Question : Ring Question Please Assist?
My boyfriend and I have been dating for 2 years. We love each other very much. He's aware Im looking for marriage, although I haven't brought it up for quite a while. He's divorced and bitter about it so he's not anxious to get remarried, but it's not out of the question. He got me a ring for christmas...along with diamond earrings and necklace... The ring, however, is not a diamond ring. It is a white sapphire ring, which I misunderstood.. it's very "engagement" looking. When I opened it up and saw it he replyed quickly that it wasnt a big deal and said many times that I dont have to wear it. (it only fits on my left ring finger) So I don't know what this means.. Was he testing me? Or is it just a gift?Last Christmas I asked for a ring... just a plain ole ring, preferably diamond but nothing engagement like, and he was hesitant because he didnt want me to think it was something more than it was. He got me a peridot (his birthstone) with 2 accent diamonds. He was very hesitant tho, and this year I said nothing about a ring, and he got me one that would pass as an engagement ring... just very confused..I know it wasn't an engagement ring. I just dont know if he was testing me out/ or hinting at something. Is that something a man would do? Test out the waters? Or if it was just a gift of a ring?
Answer:
I don't think he hates the idea of getting married, but more aware of what can happen. For example, you two can last until you're old, or get divorced a month later. You can ask him why he choose to get a ring for you also and if he doesn't answer it with a "I WANNA GET MARRIED TO YOU WOMAN" kinda deal, than it's probably just a gift.
