I want to wear hoop earrings and dangle earrings cause theyre so pretty, but i'm afraid they'll caught on something and ripped out of my ear. Any tips on wearing hoop and dangle earrings?

WOW you worry too much. hoops and dangly earrings are not dangerous at all, take me for example i have been wearring these kind of earring since i was in gr1 ans trust me i was a pretty energetic girl i even wore hoops earrings for sports day, and nothing ever happened so wear your earrings and stop worrying, nothing can happened. If they do get caught in lets say your shirt just shake it and everything will be fine...

I just got my ears pierced and I can change my earrings in two weeks, but apparently I'm only supposed to wear post earrings until it's been six months? Are post earrings the same as studs? When can I start wearing dangly/heavier earrings?

Hi there.Don't change your earrings for 6 weeks after you had them pierced. After 6 weeks to can change to whatever kind of earring you want. However, it will take your ears up to a full year to completely heal so don't be too hard on them.Always make sure your earrings&hands are clean before you put them in your ear.Good luck. :)

Question : Why do my ears hurt when I try to wear dangle earrings?
I got my ears pierced about 7 weeks ago, and today when I tried to switch them with new dangle earrings, it hurt when i put them on. No too bad, just like a pinch but it was constant. Why are dangle earrings hurting my ear???? I mean wearing normal stud-like earrings are no problem, but the dangle earrings kinda hurt...why is that? Is my ear still tender?
Answer:
It might have been because your ears were trying to adjust to the hook earrings, just like they did for your stud earrings. Remember, you did literally punch a hole through your ear so your body is probably still trying to heal itself. Check that the earrings aren't heavy and if they are, try to wear lighter ones for the time being and wait until your ear piercing is strong enough to take the weight of your other dangle earrings. Be sure to either clean or disinfect the earrings before and after you wear them to avoid infections. Don't worry because for me, it hurt less everytime I switched earrings so your piercings will eventually heal up nicely :) Good luck~

Question : How to make my mom let me wear dangle earrings to school?
OK, so I recently purchased some dangle earrings and my Mom won't let me wear them to school. She and I both know that we can wear whatever we like to school, and no matter how much I persist, she will not let me wear them. How can I make her let me wear them? Also I tried sneaking them to school and changing them there but she heard one of the teachers. PLEASE HELP I REALLY LOVE MY NEW EARRINGS!

It depends on what she's worried about. If she's worried because they'll catch on something tell her you can pay for stitches. If she's worried for one of those weird mom reasons, tell her: "Mom, it's a pair of earrings, not a tattoo." If you have a tattoo, say one of the following:...not seventeen piercings....not partying....drinking....smoking....having se*.This should work... hopefully...

Question : How long after you get your ears pierced to you need to wait until you can wear dangle earrings?
I recently got my ears pierced, and the first 6 weeks are up. The paper that they gave included instructions saying that I could change my earrings to other post-earrings after the first 4-6 week, but it said I have to wait 6 months before I can wear dangle earrings. None of my friends say to wait because none of them were informed of this when they got their ears pierced. Do you think I can wear dangles now or should I wait? And if you think I should wait, how long do I need to wait? Any help at all would be much appriciated! Thanks!

when i got my ears pierced i left the studs in for at least 10 weeks, that way i knew i wouldn't have any problems with my ears, you know such as sensitivity and ear infections. After the 10 weeks my ears were ready to upgrade to danglies. So after 10-12 weeks is when your ears should be able to take danglies. But whatever you do, don't wear danglies now or you'll be more likely to getting an infection, so trust me it's best to wait a little while like i said before, about at LEAST 10-12 weeks. I payed the price the first time getting my ears pierced and i just couldn't wait to upgrade to danglies and i took my studs out at the 6 week mark, and it was all good for a while but then i suddenly got an ear infection, because my ears just werent ready for the heavy weight of dangly earings just yet, so trust me waiting now will make it so much better later on. Question : If I get my ears pierced and wear dangle earrings, how can I stop the holes turning into slits?
I'm thinking about getting my ears pierced, but only if I'll be able to make sure the piercings stay as small, smooth, round holes. I think slits look terrible and want to make sure that never happens to me.Short of only wearing small studs all the time, is there any way to stop the holes turning into slits?Would it be safe to wear danglies provided they aren't real heavy ones?

it's completely safe to wear dangling earrings if they're not heavy. the celebrities that have diamonds and such get slits cause stones are heavy. so if you wear fake ones you should be fine. try not to keep them on unless you necessarily have to, and just make sure they're not too too big.

Question : Ears are pierced so high taht earrings wont dangle?
I was just given a very expensive pair of earrings and love them except my ear holes are pierced too high and the earrings won't "dangle". Does anyone know of a way to make them dangle? Maybe some sort of earring extender so they would fall farther past my ear?
Answer:
You can find sterling silver and 14K gold chain of varying sizes at Micheal's for example and use a pair of regular hardware wire cutters to get the needed length to create the "extension". Now take a couple of small jumprings, also available at Micheal's in sterling silver or 14K gold, and using a pair of small hardware needlenose pliers to open and close the pieces on the earrings and to open and close the jumprings, attach the piece of chain between the post or earwire and the part you want to dangle, using the jumprings. Hope the way I wrote that makes sense for you.

Oh, they would be such nice earrings. Yellow is a really vibrant color, you gotta remember, so dress it down. Anything with a hint of yellow is effect. It may be a white top with yellow graphics, or a white dress with yellow embroidery. Just something gold or yellow. Have a nice day!

Question : Is there a way to put in dangle earrings while you have plugs?
I once saw online that someone had clear plugs in and they put dangle earrings in also. I don't remember where but I want to know if it's possible.

yes you can! You just need to buy eyelet plugs.that's the kind with the whole in the middle. they make them in all sizes. I buy all my plugs on bodyartforms.com they have great deals in a huge variety!
