This earring looks great and holds in place, but the only bad thing is it hurts after awhile.

Very attractive ear cuff
I love this little ear cuff. It is just the right size and shape. It fits great and looks delicate. I used to have piercings in my upper ears but they would always get infected, this is the perfect alternative. Next, I am going to get the spiral earrings this company sells--they are beautful. This arrived fast--in fact, I think it was the first thing to arrive out of an order of 30 products. I am very pleased.

Very nice
The cuff is very elegant looking and looks great. One side is curved but the other side is just sharp edges so you have to be careful when you squeeze it shut. Working on getting it squeezed into a better shape so it doesn't stab as much but I can wear it all day and only adjust it a couple of times when it gets too much.

I am so excited about this ear cuff. I actually ordered too. One for myself, and one for a possible gift. The gift packaging is great, and the cuff is adorable. I am a first timer with ear cuffs, and it is a little odd at first. However, it arrived promptly and in great packaging. LOVE IT!

i love the delicacy of the gold, very feminine, however it is rigid and hard to adjust . i have a very small ear i wear it on and every time i wear it, it always falls off because i can't crimp the metal so it will stay in place. would hate to lose it.

First because there was no piercing involved and it fit perfectly and also she said it was no problem putting it on because of the instructions that were included with the item. Substantial, yet very elegant.
I got this for my 14 year old daughter who will not pierce her ears. It is a very elegant and well-made piece of jewelry, and it has been comfortable for her to wear. The photo doesn't show this, but one end is "U" shaped and the other has two open ends, like some of the other brands pictured on Amazon. However, the open ends on this one are nicely blunted, not just cut with sharp edges. It can be worn on the top of the ear or at the back (as pictured), depending where it fits your particular ear best. :) Everyone's ears are different! It has been knocked off the top of her ear when she put her hair behind her ear, but she caught it right away in her hand. So, be careful to not lose it, but if you wear it in a tighter-fitting place, I don't think it'll be a problem. Love the expensive looking finish on this piece too.

Dissapointed in SS Earcuff
I was so disappointed in this earcuff, it was to be a gift and it was so small and thin...I have several earcuffs and I am used to putting them on, this was so tiny it would fit a toddler...The jeweler did contact me but I had already lost the earcuff down the drain. So basically I threw out $12.00...the picture looks like what I thought I had ordered. I ordered from another company and got exactly what I wanted for the gift.

Elegant and discreet
It's perfect! I've looked everywhere for a small ear-cuff that actually fits the top rim of my ear. It's all depends on your personal taste I suppose, but I like the simple/classy style because it adds a little something without looking like I'm trying too hard. Plus it's not as heavy and the quality is so fine that I never want to take it off. Very fine craftmanship, but if you're not used to a discreet style of ear-cuff then I can see how you might not be able to appreciate it. I bought 2 different kinds so I can double the band width. They look frigging awesome.

Answer:
Try both. I use to do clip-ons as I wasn't into the idea of peirced ears and then I discovered magnetic earrings and was very excited. However, in the end both hurt and scab your ears (on both the lower soft lobes and on the more cartilage areas). Yes magnetics do that, too. Initially when wearing the magnetics, they seem to hurt less, but as the day goes on it is like the magnets are trying to get closer and closer to one another, really squeezing your ear almost to the point of numbness. (But over all magnetics seem to hurt less even though your ear still goes numb. hm)I used the magnets on my lower upper lobes because I had gotten the lower soft lobes peirced (my own made up terminology). When I took them off it was painful. Due to experience I knew scabs would come and they did. The scabs rub off easily (wait for them to develp and dry and get old--about one day), but I advise paying close attention to the feel and texture to your ears after wearing the earrings. Though I still prefer magnetic earrings to clip ons, due to the downside of both, I decided to just get my lower lobes peirced. I may get more ear peircings and stop using magnets althogether depending on how I do with my ear up keep. If you don't clean the periced area or your earrings properly you will have a very bad experience. Another kind of earring you could look into are cuff earrings.I actually found this question while looking for threads on the effects of magnetic earrings so even magnetic earrings leave you wondering, is it worth it.

Over 300 pairs of clip on ear rings on the site listed below. I suggest you search for hoops, or studs. They come in pairs, but then you have a replacement when you loose the other one. Some guys were two ear rings. Most of these ear rings are intended for women, but I see no reason a dude can not were them.

Question : Earrings - Should I keep the clip ons or get my ears pierced?
For about 3 years I have had a pair of small gold hoop earrings. Although they look exactly like pierced hoops, they aren't, the tension of the hoop keeps them in place. I sleep with them, bathe with them, and they have never fallen off.I had always thought they were fine, so I never bothered getting the real thing. I had said to myself that if I did, I would only wear small hoops anyway, so there was no point.Thing is, they look too much like pierced earrings. So much so that my Mother In Law bought me a gorgeous pair of tiny diamond studs.She offered to get them converted to clip-ons, but they would look awful if she did.I can't decide whether to bite the bullet and get a pair of holes. I am not bothered about it hurting. I can't see it being much worse than giving blood, but the hoops are really nice - and the studs they pierce you with look rotten. They are a horrible 8==D shape and I would have to put up with them for 6 weeks! What do you think I should do?

put up with the crappy ones for 6 weeks. it's really worth it especially when you wanna wear the diamonds to a nice family dinner with your in-laws. it would mean a lot to her to see you do something like that and I'm sure she'd feel her gift was appreciated.

Go to michaels or your local craft store and find the jewelry section. You should see little bags full of earring hooks, studs, and others for other stuff. you'll see a bag with the clip on earring part. get that. you'll also need pliers. take the hook or whatever back you have, off the wedding earrings by bending the circle with pliers. attach the earring to the clip on partyou could just get your ears pierced though lolgood luck
