Cheaply Made
I couldn't be more disappointed in these earrings and they are going back. First of all, the posts are too short for such a big earring and secondly, they came with one of the back securers bent.....how cheap is that! My advice would be to buy the 5 or 6 mm 14kt. gold balls if you really want this type of earring. Yes, the posts will probably be short as well, but they will stay on if you have thin earlobes.

First Time I wore them - Not secure, and One lost...
I should have read other reviews - as they are correct. It is a very small post behind these large balls. It did not feel very secure with the backing this morning, and sure enough... by afternoon I had only one earring on. The other was lost.
Very pretty - YES! But, regrettably a waste of money as now I have only 1.

These earrings look nice and for the price it's a good buy. But I think this listing should specify that the earrings are for a child's ear. I got them for my second hole, and they are a good size for that but the post barely goes through to the other side of my ear. Once the backing is on, they are pretty tight.

small criticism
The (gold) post could have been a bit longer for those who have chubbier lobes; or post earrings could be offered in two sizes: this one and what I mentioned above. The cultured pearl ones I ordered at the same time has a VERY slightly longer post so I know this creation in post earrings is possible. I am very allergic to anything that doesn't have a higher gold content and both the earring sets I ordered must meet this criteria for I had no adverse reaction...except a very slight one from the gold post on this pair being so short: the backing on the back of the earring rubbed and irritated.

Arrived with two different size posts, one too short. Clasp immediately bent out of shape upon attempt to carefully remove it from package. Will send them back, disappointed since sold directly by Amazon.

Broke after a few Months
I loved these earrings but after wearing them almost every day one of them broke. The ball came loose from the post and is ruined. I would expect a pair of gold earrings to last longer than 10 months.

I bought these on a whim because I use this seller all the time and I trust their products I got them today an I love them they work real well with my oval face and long neck. I am a jeans and tee type of gal so these are perfect but I can definitely wear them to work with a suit!!!

Pretty, but a little off
These are very pretty and worth the price, but one was significantly longer than the other--more wire and an uneven attempt at shaping, so one was longer than the other when worn. I rebent the longer one and was fairly successful--the wire is sturdy enough that the original bend spot still shows, but it's behind the ear. They're also larger than I thought they would be, but they seem to be overall well made and attractive.

Most of the times when I buy from a seller out of AMAZON - I have had a HORRIBLE experience!! ANd the sellers never reply back to the e-mails when you send them questions on the specific item!!!!! Some of these have screw on balls, and some have "suspended" balls, that means that you just pull the ball out.

Question : Am I supposed to sleep in my earrings?
I have had my ears pierced for exactly 7 weeks, now. Today i just went back to Claire's and I bought 9 pairs of really pretty gem stud earrings for $9.50. I was wondering since the piercers tell you to "keep some type of stud earrings in your ears at all times for the first 6 months"Right now i have the same golden stud ball earrings in that i got when i got my ears pierced. Tonight i am about to change my earrings into a pair of my new ones. But i am wondering since it says "At all times" does that mean i have to sleep in them tonight, too? And take a shower in them? Or how long can it be when i dont have any earrings in? This is my first time every getting my ears pierced, so please dont think this is a stupid question, because i have never done any of this before. Thanks alot to whoever replies!

Its a good bet to keep them in as long as they dont bother you. Make sure to clean them daily and sanitize them at least monthly. Since they are, lets face it, cheaper earrings expect to replace them when they get tarnished. After a year of having your ears pierced it wont be a big deal to take them out for longer periods of time.

Question : Why do women wear big earrings when small little ball earrings are fine, or even nothing is fine?
I'm a guy and i don't get it. Some even get their earlobes loose and have to have operations because of using big heavy earrings. Don't blame guys for wanting you to wear big earrings, cause we don't. Heck if you didn't wear anything or just used stickers it would be fine and more healthy.

Ask local jeweler to custom silver stud for you, just tell him the size (width and length) of the diamond. The cost won't be over $200.00. But as you choose big diamond, 1.5ct each, why not choose K gold stud?

I got my ear gauged today for the first time, with a hoop and ball earring. Well, problem is I dont like it, and was wondering how to get the earring off. I know your not supposed to take off earrings right away cause its prone to infection, but screw it, this things pissin me off. i never had a hoop and ball in my ear but i did when i got my belly button pierced. i personally used a pair of plyers but i'm sure thats not the proper way to do it. u gotta pry the thing open. and the ball pops out. its annoying. good luck
