These are some gorgeous earrings! The suns themselves are about 3/4"-1" diameter, light in weight, and pretty. I've gotten a few positive comments on them since wearing them. I am allergic to nickel, and it seems so far that these do not have nickel in them because I have had no reaction yet. The hook system is nice too; you won't have the problem of these falling off by accident. I wear them all the time. Wonderful product at a good price. :)

I received these today from a friend who got them off my wish list. Judging by the photo, I thought they would be super petite; but they are a good size and weighty enough on the ear that you know they are there (but not uncomfortable.) The posts are not flimsy and the earrings appear to be solidly constructed. They came with a card with care instructions.

I bought these to match a pendant on a silver necklace my husband bought me. I don't know where he bought it, but I know he paid a lot. These match beautifully and I love wearing them; and even better, the price was amazing. They are really pretty!!

Different from the pic

The pearls in the picture looks round but what I got is kind of flat and most importantly, they are not shiny as the pearls supposed to look.
All my friends say they look like plastic. I thought the same when I first saw it.
Oh, and one of them is a little dented in the middle. I am too busy to exchange them but I don't think I can trust here anymore...

These are very beautiful earings, I am so glad I got them. I usually wear the same earings everyday, but I decided I should have some different options. They are not jet black, they have a slight purple shine to them, but I like it. As for size, they are not too big that they would overpower your ear lobe (I have small to average size ears) but they are not so small that they would not be noticed. These were a perfect find for an amazing price.

Not good quality

I just received these earrings and a stone was already missing. I found it loose in the package. I'm returning these for a refund, assuming that if a stone is missing at delivery it won't be long before more fall out. Too bad, though, because I thought these were really cute otherwise. Be aware, the post is a flat post, not rounded, and is somewhat irritating on the ear.

The picture make them look bigger than they are. In fact, when I got them my first thought was,"What?" They looked tiny. But I decided to try them on and I LOVE THEM. They are classy and simply lovely. I wear them all the time. They are comfortable and I have very sensitive skin. I've even worn them to sleep. To give you an idea of their true size. Originally I bought a pair of these for my niece...she loved them. Then I thought how cute so I got two more pairs, one for me and one for my sister. We all wear them regularly. Perfect size for a young girl or perfect for a sparkly but conservative look for an adult. Incredibly confortable too!

Beautiful and simple

These earrings are exactly what I was looking for, and haven't been able to find in any department stores. Something simple with a closed back with just enough sparkle that I can wear everyday and don't have to remove at night to sleep. The picture doesnt do them justice. Great quality at a great price! One of the earrings had a loose clasp, but amazon exchanges are so easy! No charge to ship it back (because it was a defect on their end), and they sent the replacement before I even sent the first pair back! I'm very happy with this purchase.

These are all the best of what everyone has already said. We purchased them for our daughter's 11th birthday. They are beautiful. I am keeping the Garnets for myself, they are the darkest of the lot. The colors vary from a pale blue of the topaz to the vibrant green and golden lemony yellow of the citrine and peridot. The stones are very clear with no visible flaws and the setting is a pretty little filagree look. These are an EXCELLENT set. I HIGHLY recommend them.

These beautiful stud earrings came packaged together in individual boxes, which was perfect for gift giving. Between my mom and sisters, we split up the five earrings and have all been pleased with the quality and color. The different shapes allow for some variety and the colors are true to the photos. I would recommend this set as a good buy (earring set at less than $10 each) and for the quality and variety of the earrings in the set.

Studs for your wardrobe

As I get older, I find that I prefer smaller earrings and sometimes, a stud is all I want to wear. I have wanted these earrings for a while but finally broke down and bought them earlier this month. I have to say that I am more than delighted by them. The silver settings are quite pretty. The color of the stones is vibrant.

A couple reviews indicated that they are too heavy so, when I ordered the earrings, I also ordered Earring Stabilizers. It was a good decision. When I first took a pair out of the box, I immediately noticed the weight. They are substantial. The earring stabilizer held the earring straight and did not let the weight of the earring make my earlobe droop. Nobody wants droopy earlobes.

I do not recommend considering these earrings for those second and third holes. They are simply too heavy for that.

Question : What causes earrings to turn your ears black?
My husband bought me a necklace and earrings set for Christmas so I put the earrings in and I pretty much forgot about them for months and left them in 24/7. I thought they were sterling silver but on a closer inspection, they are cheap. Now the holes in my ears have black stuff in them. I know it will go away after a few days but it's gross and makes me wonder why those earrings did that to my ears.

its either a.) an allergic reaction or b.) cheap metal in the earring. Don't wear that earring for a couple of days and it should go away. if you wanna put in back in then go ahead but you'll just have the same problem a couple days later. Some thing about a chemical reaction with the metal and the stuff in your ear (blood, pus, cartilage, etc.) that makes it turn black or green.

I have no idea where to find really awesome earrings. Not Claires, theirs are cheapy. But... Be careful. If the stud is too small or the ear is too thick, it will ruin the earrings. My suggestion? If you are going to do it, stick the ears with a needle first and twist them enough that there is a big enough hole in the ears for the stud to slide in.

If you are getting piercings in your ears, you can usually choose from several different earrings, some of which are those boring little fake gemstone ones, but that depends on where you go to get your earlobes pierced. Of course, you can always take the earrings out and put in different ones, but only after your earholes have then completed growing and won't start to bleed or get infected. You can always go buy your own pair, but they have to be thicker, for the first time piercing. Afterward, you can't wear them anymore, so don't bother about anything expensive or really special.

There should be stainless steel piercing studs, with a sharp tip,Wipe your ear with alcohol and rub it with a piece of ice then pierce the ear. I recommend marking the spot where you are going to pierce with a marker and check the evenness of the holes before piercing them. you can always change the earrings after they heal, it depends on how sensitive your ears are.
