Perfectly Priced!

I bought these earrings to replace more expensive cubic zirconia studs. I expected a cheap product when I ordered these, but I didn't know just how much cheaper these earrings would appear to be. I think they would be appropriate for teens and young adults. Otherwise, they just look really fake and cheap. I gave 3 stars because they arrived when I needed them to, and they arrived in good condition. Unfortunately, a few days later, one stud fell into the sink and down the drain. I'll be looking for a nicer pair now.

Love 'em - gorgeous!

I love these earrings. I think they're really pretty. Definitely not cheap/dinky looking, and definitely made of real silver. In Texas, James Avery is one of the most popular jewelry stores, and this is as good as anything you would buy there. Another good thing - they're not too heavy!

nice, moderately-sized silver earrings

I like silver dangle earrings but have a hard time finding those that aren't so heavy they pull my earlobes down. These are perfect in that regard, and are very attractive too! The measurement listed, 35 mm, is from the tip of the dangle to the tip of the fishhook that goes through your ear; the dangle or charm itself is about 25 mm. I find this size ideal; others may disagree but now you know. The earrings are stamped and good quality for the price. They also come attractively packaged and include clear rubbery backs or stoppers to avoid loss.

I really like these earrings. They a good size for every day wear and they look nice. The backs fit nice and snug. I was a little disappointed in the color of some. The peacock looks more dark green than blue and the chocolate is more like a dark copper. But over all they are a very good buy. I wear them often.

Caution for those with METAL SENSITIVITY

These earrings made the skin in my ears react as they generally do to lower grade metals (nickel) and non-hypo-allergenic earrings. Usually my ears are fine with sterling silver, so what are these made from I wonder?

They've help up great but beware that they are not the best quality. The dye job is poor and I could never wear the brown ones bc the pearls came off the post. They are glued on and small in size. I recommend these for a child instead.

Truly cute and versatile!

I love little tiny earrings because I don't like earrings that are too distracting. These earrings are gorgeous, well made and look just like the pictures, albeit smaller, and even kind of more silvery. The silver is very bright. So yes they are pretty small but they are perfect and I find myself opting for these over most of my other earrings. The color is great if you tend to wear dark clothes and have rosy overtones on your skin.

Question : What causes earrings to turn your ears black?
My husband bought me a necklace and earrings set for Christmas so I put the earrings in and I pretty much forgot about them for months and left them in 24/7. I thought they were sterling silver but on a closer inspection, they are cheap. Now the holes in my ears have black stuff in them. I know it will go away after a few days but it's gross and makes me wonder why those earrings did that to my ears.

its either a.) an allergic reaction or b.) cheap metal in the earring. Don't wear that earring for a couple of days and it should go away. if you wanna put in back in then go ahead but you'll just have the same problem a couple days later. Some thing about a chemical reaction with the metal and the stuff in your ear (blood, pus, cartilage, etc.) that makes it turn black or green.

Question : What kind of earrings will make my nose look a little bit less wide and sharpen my features?
I think my nose is a little too wide in comparison to my lips (the tip and the sides, the bridge is okay)..what kind of earrings will make it look narrower? Also, I want my face to look just a little more chiseled and sharp (contoured), what earrings will create this effect? Thanks!

There should be stainless steel piercing studs, with a sharp tip,Wipe your ear with alcohol and rub it with a piece of ice then pierce the ear. I recommend marking the spot where you are going to pierce with a marker and check the evenness of the holes before piercing them. you can always change the earrings after they heal, it depends on how sensitive your ears are.

they have specialized piercing earrings that have a sharp point on the the post. ask if you can get backs that completely cover the back so while you're healing they don't poke you when you lay down. stick to small studs/gems that are hypo-allergenic until you're completely healed. that will reduce your chance of infection.

How to make your own ear wires:-acquire some 20g sterling wire (or gold, or gold filled, whatever you like). You should be able to do it with a foot, but get some extra, just in case. This will be the hardest object to find. Check someplace like Michael's or a bead store.-acquire some round nose pliers (available at Wal-Mart and most craft stores).-Make a small loop at the end of the wire with the pliers. Then, wrap the remaining wire around something small and round (I've found a mechanical BIC pencil to be a good size). Once you're about 3/4 of the way around, make a small bend outward. Cut the wire at a point past this bend--how far depends on how big you want your hooks (I'd say 3/8 of an inch to 1/2. Just eyeball it.)

Have them not wear earrings or go with something neutral like gold or silver balls. Studs only though because it would look funny with non pearl dangling earrings. No earrings would look best, but nobody will notice because they'll all have their eyes on the bride anyway. Plus nobody would really be able to tell even if they were a serious snob unless they got close to the bridesmaids. Congrats on the wedding! :)
