Questions & Answers
Question : My fiance wants a man-gagement ring?
So men, out of these couple of choices, which would you prefer to wear? They arent' the most expensive, because I'm still in college, and need to save money for rent and books. But I still think these look nice.http://www.jewelryvortex.com/fine-jewelry/rings/wedding-bands/titanium/rings-with-stones/ra029. phphttp://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Watches/Mens-Titanium-and-Diamond-Ring/1862347/product.htmlhttp: //www.jewelryvortex.com/fine-jewelry/rings/wedding-bands/titanium/rings-with-stones/rfr20127.phpI think I like the second the best, simply because it's different, but I would really like a guy's opinion, or a girl's opinion who has bought a ring for her man. Thank you!can you give me any idea or a website of a design you would wear?

Answer:
I actually like the 1st and 3rd one...I will tell you why...I have seen one very similar to the 2nd one in person and it LOOKS cheap. I really love the 1st one it would look good with a thinner wedding band under it or on his right handhere are some more I foundhttp://www.limogesjewelry.com/custom.asp?productid=11737http://www.limogesjewelry.com/custom.as p?productid=11871ultimitly it has to be something you think he would love

Answer:
It sounds like your best option is to find interesting brown shoes and/or dye your hair. Cowboy boots, for instance, are brown, lace-up, and with low heels. There are many options for decorative and experimental shoes which fall into this category, and "brown" is a very vague description, too, as you could go anywhere from oxblood to beige. Play around with that.It says that hair must be cut "reasonably short" but that gel is not an option. However, short, interesting hairstyles can be created without the use of gel. I recommend something assymetrical, shave up one side and leave the other chin-length, or something. Experiment with this, find a style that you like. It doesn't make any real specific demands. These are the only loopholes I see, though. Hair and shoes. Better than nothing! Hope this helps.

Question : Girl's advice on gift jewelry?
there's this girl, and by now you've already probably guessed i like her... She's been very depressed lately due to broken hearts, but we started talking and recently she's becoming her old self again, we've gotten pretty close, she knows i have liked her for a long time and she said she's starting to fall for me. I have a ring made in a high school jewelry class. the ring is a band-aid. It's sterling silver, and without being too modest...it's perfect. All polished and shiny, perfectly smooth, looks just like a tiny silver band aid in ring form... I plan on giving this to her and saying something like "I made you a band-aid to help heal your broken heart" or something cheesey like that... but my problem is that I don't know what finger is appropriate to put this on. what hand, what finger to put it on? that is my question.hahaha good point... but what would the ideal finger be?

Answer:
probably the pointer finger. she will end up moving it to the finger that it fits on anyway, might as well go for the most common finger

Question : Unique Girl's Names - Will be Published!?
So I select product names for my company, and we choose girl's names for our jewelry. Problem is, I'm running out of names! So here's what I'm asking: go to the Emitations website (link below) and search for whatever name you have/like/suggest/etc. If no items match, then you have a name that I want to know!Post it here and the best name (or list of names) will get the points for best answer, plus I will name a jewelry item after it. You can even tell me if you prefer a ring, necklace, etc. Could be a great gift for a friend, new mommy, etc, or just a nice way to see your unique name get some representation. I really appreciate the help! Also, we like names from different cultures, parts of the world, religions, etc, so anything goes!link: http://www.emitations.com/?utm_source=jmw1&utm_medium=namesyahooanswers&utm_campaign=ya

Question : Where can i get good deals on Diamond Engagement rings?
I have seen some websites but i don't really know much about jewelry, and also how do i get the size of my girl's finger without letting her know

Answer:
Please, please, please do NOT get an engagement ring from Walmart, ebay, or a department store. I completely understand that you want a good deal, but remember that she will wear this ring FOREVER, and it is a constant reminder of your love for her.Good jewelry stores such as Tiffany and Kay Jewelers have smaller, good quality rings at affordable prices...please check both of those out before you make your decision. Those stores are also very good about sizing the ring after you give it to her. Reminder: it's better to buy it too big.

Question : How would you describe this ring?
I saw a ring today on a girl's finger, and I'd love to have one like it, but I can't find it on, for example, eBay, because the words I'd use to describe it aren't very helpful. It was U-shaped, and long, so that the base of the ring was right under the joint of her finger, and then it curved at the back of her hand. It had different types of gemstones, too, but when I try to use words like "curved" or "U-shaped," I get engineering things or other body jewelry. Help me, please, if you can.

Answer:
I think multiple gems or assortment of gems should be about right. The ring she has might be an original ring that she designed herself cuz I have never heard of something like that. My best idea would be to go to a jeweler and describe the ring to them and see if they can tell you what it is or you can look around the jewelry store and see if you see anything familiar. Hope that helped! : )

Question : Need girl's advice on jewelry present for my girlfriend's birthday!?
So I'm trying to find some nice jewelry for her for her birthday. I have given her a pretty nice ring about a year ago and she has some nice necklaces so I was thinking bracelet or earings. Bracelets just seem a lot more excited maybe its because im a guy? heh. Anyways check out these sites and link any that stand out. I am hoping to spend no more than 200$ although I don't have a ton of extra money and would rather not go over 150$. Heres Kay, they seem to have a good selection. They all look the same to me though...ahh help.http://www.kay.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SearchResultsView?No=0&Ne=1&Ntt=bracelet&Ntk=Produ cts&langId=-1&storeId=10101&N=0&catalogId=10001Tiffanys of course. (expensive)http://www.tiffany.com/shopping/item.aspx?sku=GRP01430&cid=96666&mcat=148204&menu=1And then...http://www.tiffany4u.com/home.php?cat=249&sort=orderby&sort_direction=0&page=1If you know any other sites feel free to link from there. Any help is much appreciated! Thankyou.

Answer:
check with your local jeweler about starting an 'add a diamond' bracelet. you start out with a 'tennis like bracelet' with one diamond ... each year, or anniversay or special occasion, you can buy your girlfriend a diamond to add to the bracelet. it is also a great gift as family and friends can also purchase a diamond to add to her bracelet. my dad started my mom on one and it has been fun to see her bracelet with one diamond, grow into a fantastic bracelet with lots of diamonds! have fun!

Question : Girls! Do you like this ring?
I am buying my girlfriend a ring with her birthstone and my birthstone, I was wondering if you liked this ring? I like it, but i would want a girl's opinion to help me out. Thanks! Here is the link:http://www.amazon.com/Peridot-Ring-Diamonds-White-Gold/dp/B001NOSH66/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=jewel ry&qid=1282192224&sr=1-6

Answer:

Question : what should i get my girl for our one year anniversary?
me and my girl's one year anniversary is coming up and people tell me to get her jewelry. I have made my choices between a ring necklace or a bracelet. which one of these should i get her? and when i do give it to her i need to come up with a way to give it to her instead of saying "here happy anniversary." Ladies i really need your advise on this one. Remember what should i get her and how to give it to her.

Answer:
Ahhh, I remember those early years. The necklace, 1 dozen roses and a candle lit dinner for two (you might try preparing it yourself). Place the roses in the center of the table with the necklace dangling from them, soft music and wine (if you drink). Blind fold her (very loosely) and lead her into the room. You really can't go wrong here if she is a romantic. Good Luck!! :)

Question : We're getting married, and each have kids. Is $175 too much to spend on a wedding gift for our children?
My fiancee and I are getting married soon. We each have children from former marriages. I wanted to get something nice for our children, who are 15, 10 and 8. I found these beautiful sterling silver chains with interlocking rings at Tiffany, and thought it would be symbolic and thoughtful to give the gift of a piece of jewelry with a ring motif, to symbolize the union of our two families. We could give it to them just before the ceremony, or just after. My daughter would get the girl's one with the interlocking rings, and the boys would get a heavier chain with just one masculine ring hanging from it. We're spending around $35K for the wedding, not including the honeymoon, but my fiance thinks $175 is too much money to spend for a gift for the children. He also thinks the symbolism is too much. Am I crazy, or is he being a little too careful with the funds?

Answer:
I think that your intentions are good, and if you were to tell me that you had three daughters and they were a little older, I would agree with you that it is a beautiful sentiment and they would appreciate and wear your gift often. However, given that two of them are boys, and I'm not sure which ones are 8 and 10, but I cannot envision a boy of any age wearing such a chain. My issue isn't necessarily with the amount of the gift but if the gift itself will even be appreciated. And I think if one of his children ends up taking the gift and losing it (as children often do) your feelings will be hurt as you will take it that they aren't respecting and embracing the union of the two families.Considering the amount you are spending on your wedding (and no one has any right to judge you for that, as the average wedding in the US costs about 28,000 and you are clearly not a couple in your 20's just starting out financially, and I imagine you already have college funds set up for your kids...but I digress) I don't think the amount for each child is too extravagant, but I would look around for something else or consider a family get away as someone else suggested, which would truly allow the two families to bond into one. Even just a fun weekend getaway now that school is out would probably be much appreciated by everyone and help to start building those memories as the new family. Then when you get back, put together a digital picture frame with pictures of all of you together and have that in a central part of your home.Best of luck to you and your family!
