Hand carved from horn with surgical steel bar. It measures approx 50 mm in height and 25 mm in width. Since each earring is individually carved and sanded the colour and size may vary slightly. The bar securely fits in the horn, so makes them secure and durable. The cow bovine bone and horn is a bi product and no animal is harmed as a result of these being made.

How do I stick stud earrings on a bear as a surprise gift to my gf?I bought stud earrings for my gf. But I was planning to put them on a teddy bear's ears such as from build a bear as a different way to present them as a gift. But how should I go about putting them on the bear cause they are stud earrings and I dont want to ruin them.
Answer:
Be careful. If the stud is too small or the ear is too thick, it will ruin the earrings. My suggestion? If you are going to do it, stick the ears with a needle first and twist them enough that there is a big enough hole in the ears for the stud to slide in.

Question : How do you wear black stud earrings?
I just bought a pair of black onyx stone, sterling silver stud earrings. I really like them but I'm afraid I appear goth wearing them since they're black stone. How should I pair them (with clothes, other jewelry, etc) to make them not appear goth? Thanks so much for the help!
Answer:
Wear them with something with sparkles on it or black and white floral.... or wear a black shirt and white capris. That is what I do and I am not goth and I look super cute all the time i think.... lol :) hope i helped you!!

You want to be extremely cautious. I wouldn't suggest taking them out for at least a month, but keep a pair of earring in all the time, for almost a year. Also be careful that you don't use heavy earrings too early because my sister's earlobe ripped because she was wearing these dangly earrings. Find some cute colorful studs that look awesome. For studs - if they arent enormous -- you could probably very go down to a I1 as long as the inclusions are WHITE and the cut is a Very Good or Ideal. Color can probably also go to an I again if the cut is very good or ideal.Order online and save money - if you do make sure they have a good return policy in case they arent what you expected.

Okay, now for some cute, creative ways to give her the earrings:1. I like the teddybear idea someone else posted.2. Remove one chocolate from a box of chocolates, and put the earrings in the paper cup. When she opens the box of chocolates, ta-da!3. Hang them near a sunny window and when she walks in, the room will be covered with rainbows--surprise! When she tries to figure out why, she'll spot the earrings.4. Tie ear earring to something closely related but not located in the same place (like a jelly jar in the refrigerator and the peanut butter jar somewhere else). When she finds the first one, she'll probably quickly guess where the second one is--but we all like to feel smart, so that's a nice feeling.5. Wrap each in a Hershey's kiss wrapper. Mix with a (small) bowl of real Hershey's kisses. Give the bowl of chocolates as a gift...but at a time when she'll be hungry enough to eat them.6. Take her out for dinner. I used to think men look queer wearing earrings but now I love to see a tall dark man in a white-T, saggy jeans, a hat tilted to the side and two stud earrings. Ohh.If you want to wear earrings they don't have to be real , just take some clear fingernail polish and coat them with it ( prevents exposure to air which causes fading and other deterioration)
