Question : Do you think is tacky to have you initials engraved into your cuff links when you get married?
My fiance and I are getting married and he wants to have my initials and his engraved into his cuff links. His mother has told him it is tacky to get them engraved with initials, especially 'when' we divorce and he is forced to get rid of them. I think it is a sweet idea as the cuff links are joint together and we're going to be joint together in marriage.

I've been trying to think of something a little extra to get for my son this Easter to go with his 3 piece suit. The only things I can come up with are cuff links, button covers, or tie clips. I can find them for men, but not for young boys.Is there a difference?Do they even exist?Does anyone know where I could find them?

Take them to a jeweler and he will tell you if they are worth anything, for a fee.If they have no precious jewels or insignia of anything rare or famous and they are not gold or platinum then the only thing to do is carry them around at a flea market and listen to the old timers opinions.

Aim for between a half and a quarter inch with your arms by your sides. Many show more, but they are not gentlemen haha

I am buying my first suit.. and im noticing the suits im looking at need cuff links.. do i need 2 sets? one set for the dress shirt and another for a suit? or how does that work?

Oooo I've never seen a suit that needed cufflinks. Usually you just wear them with the shirt. I would check with the shop where you are buying from as I may be wrong if this is a new fashion thing for men.

Answer:
There's no hard-and-fast rule on what you have monogrammed on cufflinks. I think "Dad" is charming.

Question : Should cuff links be looser than regular buttons?
When I put cuff links in my shirt instead of using the regular buttons, it seems like I can fit another wrist in the sleeves. Is that how it should be?
Answer:
Unfortunately yes. Cuff links are from the yesteryear when fit wasn't the greatest priority.
