STOP DO NOT BUY!

The tongue stud is rubber (ish?). Albeit, a piece of junk. The clamp, or "little miniature rubber o-ring" does not keep the stud in your tongue whatsoever! I lost one o-ring when sanitizing, then I swallowed the second one after taking a bite of a sandwich. There are many other products out there that are better and actually useful. Don't waste your money this holiday season, shop around.

Working for a fast food industry, peircings are a huge NO. I did not get a hole thru my tongue so it can heal in 2 hours while I am at work, so I bought this item to keep the hole open and my boss's silent. I was happy I got two, incase I should lose one. I do wish it came with a few extra rubber bands, seeing as its clear and they are tiny. I wear it for 7-9 hours 5 days a week and am happy to report the band is still very tight on the post. I had worried the band would become weak and I would swallow the post. I am very pleased, and nobody notices.

Ok so i am a military member and body piercings (except ears for girls) are a definate NO. You can get into MAJOR MAJOR trouble because its in the uniform code that its not allowed. But my tongue has been pierced for ever and i had invested way to much money in rings to just let it close on me. For a while i was wearing the clear ball and the clear rod until one day i got pulled into my commanders office and he told me if he ever sees it again i was going to get paper work (YIKES!). So i bought this baby and let me tell you NO ONE KNOWS!!!! i laugh and talk all the time... and i work in the commanders office so im always talking to officers and higher ups!... Yeah the little o-ring is annoying to get on and it does fall off at times but it really doesnt matter to me. I dont wear the o-ring anyways i just stick the retainer in through the bottom and im on my way. so for me this product is GREAT! hope this review helps...

These earrings came just as pictured. We loved them. However, one of the backs was stripped (the grooves inside for screwing). Sadly, one week after we received them, the one with the loose back was lost.

Awesome for a little girl

This is the second pair of these I've bought. I bought the first pair when my daughter was only about 9 or 10 months old and she started tugging at her earrings. The fact that they have screw backs and are in a silver tone at such a good price sold me. She is now 2 and lost a back to an earring a few weeks ago while we were on a field trip with my son. Couldn't find it anywhere, so I automatically purchased the exact same ones. Can't recommend them enough.

I purchased these for my two-year old and they are perfect. The backs screwed on and stayed on well and they are really cute. These were the least expensive pair of screw back earrings I could find and they turned out to be well worth the money.

Lead was banned so they needed another cheap material as a substitute. Cadmium in children's jewelry was actually NOT regulated in the US, so the suppliers used it. This massive government misstep was twisted and used to blame Chinese suppliers when in fact it was the government that failed to regulate cadmium in such products. Cadmium is regulated in many other products, and it is regulated in Europe for such products. There is no reason why it wasn't regulated in children's jewelry except to purposely mislead suppliers or to demonstrate government incompetence.

During the week I was off during hurricane Katrina, I went to my cousin's house to visit some of my New Orleans relatives who were staying there.
