Editorial Review :
Great looking two-strand bracelet in our new design is embellished with silver studs. Each strand is 6mm wide and the first strand has a cross drop, round studs and black cord wrap detail. The second strand has round studs and center silvertone and brass beads. The beaded section has a tighter bead on each end so the beads don't slide backwards. This adjustable bracelet fits 6 inches on up. The cord ends pull open to 11 inches around, and pull back down to 6 inches when entirely closed. Arrives in a gift box with bow.
-------------------------------------------- EASY ADJUSTMENT BRACELET HOW TO ADJUST: To increase the size of the bracelet just pull each side of the bracelet open at the ends near the cords. The two cords will slide open to make an opening that will be big enough to put hand through. Then, when on the wrist, pull the cord ends to tighten to desired fit. The stationary knot holds the cords in place.

Question : How do you make beaded cupcakes?
I really want to make my sister beaded cupcakes for her birthday but I dont know how to go about it. Yes, I know I can just buy them but I like to make things myself and its a chance to learn something new.I don't mean baked edible cupcakes. I'm referring to those adorable ones made of beads on places like etsy.com

Question : I want to start my own business by selling beaded jewelry that i make. How would I do this?
I just turned 13 years old. I heard that my cousin who is one month younger than me opened up her own business by giving manicures/pedicures/and massages to family/friends and charging them money. I want to do the same thing, but I want to sell beaded bracelets that I make to friends, family, and people who just like beaded stuff. Are there any good websites that will teach me how to make my own little business? For free.I appreciate all the good answers but I also need any good, free websites that can teach me or give me ideas on how to make my jewelry. I already have all the supplies: beads, wiring, ect. I can always buy a book, but I'd prefer the internet.
Answer:
Ask your cousin what she did to start hers. One thought comes to mind, tho - When someone buys a manicure they need one again in a week or so. But when someone buys a bracelet, they have a bracelet, and may not need to buy another. So your cousin has a business that generates repeat customers, which is a great plan. Similar types of 'jobs' would be walking dogs, babysitting, etc., stuff that needs to be done over and over again, so you don't have to keep finding new customers. That being said, if you love making jewelry, and want to see how it goes, you can figure out what to charge for the pieces by taking into consideration the cost of the supplies (beads, wire, findings, etc.) and adding something for your time making it. However, I would not recommend making too much of a financial investment until you see how well it goes.good luck!

Question : How would you paint a beaded curtain?
I bought this really cool wooden beaded curtain at a yard sale for 3 bucks, it has a good pattern, but its awful brown and oarnge color scheme has to go.
Answer:
Try spraying it a few strands at a time. Sherwin Williams has new spray cans with an adjustable "fan" tip which gives you better control. Hang it on a wire outside where you can separate the strands and mist it lightly over and over until it's covered. Dipping it might make it a runny mess and ruin it.

Question : What is the best string to use for the beaded animal keychains?
I would like to do those little beaded animal keychains, but I am unsure as to what string I should use. I tried to use nylon crochet thread, but the ends fray. Is there a better string to use that wouldn't fray? I'm not the biggest fan of that plastic lanyard string either.
Answer:
I understand the problem you are having, I hate trying to tie knots in any type of plastic or nylon cord. One suggestion is regular crochet cotton or even embroidery floss (use all 6 strands).

Question : Will a beaded curtain keep a dragonfly out of the house?
Had a rather large dragonfly enter the house today through the back door which I had left open. I don't like dragonflies and so promptly left the room, closing the door, leaving my dog to deal with it. Luckily he chased it out, but I've been too scared to leave the door open again. Would a beaded curtain hung over the door be enough to keep the dragonfly out?
Answer:
Sure, they may not be 'fashionable' but it keeps most flying insects out; a dragonfly will definitely not want to risk damaging its wings. Dragonflies are beautiful, though and won't hurt you :-)

Question : How can I find contacts to purchase my handcrafted Native American beaded jewelry?
My husband and I have a Native American crafts business that deals mostly in hand beaded jewelry. We normally travel the powwow trail but with gas prices the way they are it is making it very hard to cover expences. I have decided to try wholesaling my jewelry. I would still earn an honest living and cut out all the aggrivation of traveling. But have no idea how to reach contacts and let the word out. I do this full-time, so production is no problem. I have a paypal account already set up. Most of my bases are covered except getting product out on the market. Does anyone have realistic ideas or would even be interested?
Answer:
I would look into this site for crafters and other artisans to sell their work through. It is really really cheap to post listings. http://www.etsy.comIf you decide to do something like that, afterward I'd advertise yourself as much as you can online and however else, and submit your shop/page URL of it to freebie search engine submit things. Good luck! : )

Question : How do you make a beaded dress with only beads and string?
I dream of dresses i want to make all the time. Well, imagine a beaded keychain. You know, the ones that are made to look like animals. Now think of a multi stranded beaded necklace. Both of those things have this in common: theyre only made from string and wire and beads! Is it possible to make a dress like that? It seems tedious. And yeah, it'd be sheer and see-through so id wear a mini dress under.
Answer:
wow so I am not the only one with that dream of making a beaded dress. I really couldn't come up with an answer...

Question : What are those things called that you can clip onto beaded necklace? Like a heart or Cross?
What are those things called that you can clip onto a beaded necklace? A friend is selling them but I hated to ask her what they are because she sells them and I want to see if I can find them cheaper on ebay. They are real cute they just clip right on a necklace. She was selling a Cross and a star.
Answer:
Pendants.

Question : How to make a twisted beaded necklace?
I want to make a necklace that has 6 or more beaded strands and then they are twised and woven around each other. Do you know where I can find free pattern/instruction for one?
Answer:
This site has the instructions for a choker, but it will give you the basic idea and you can adjust it to whatever size you need. http://www.firemountaingems.com/beading_howtos/beading_projects.asp?docid=663Q&sact=search

Question : How do i mail beaded bobby pins to a buyer on Ebay?
I make beaded bobby pins and I plan on selling them on Ebay. I need to know how to mail them once someone buys them. Because they are so small I don't want to mail them in a huge envelope because I think they'll charge me at the post office. Any suggestions?
Answer:
Small padded envelopes would work. You can mail them first class, which is not very expensive. That is what I do. And the BUYER can pay the postage, so you don't lose money. You just have to be sure you charge the right amount. Also, you might want to check out an alternative site - etsy. Unlike ebay, it charges quite low posting fees (only 20 cents per item) for a full 4 month listing and only 3.5% final value fee. Ebay charges more for listings and 8% - 9% for final value. But etsy is a 'flat price' site, not an auction site, so you need to be sure what you want to sell your item(s) for.http://help.etsy.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/136/session/L3NpZC81LTFQWVo2aw%3D%3D
