Question : My beaded purse is dirty, how do I clean the beads?
I have a beaded purse and the beads are dirty on the edges and bottom of the purse. How do I clean the beads? I don't know if it's just dirty from dust or if it's something else. I had it hanging in the closet for years.Thanks everyone.
Answer:
Try using a soft headed toothbrush first dry then if that dosen't work try a tiny bit of water on it.Then hang to dry, remember do it gently as you don't want to rub off the beads or loosen any.

Question : How do I paint beaded board walls?
I need to paint beaded board walls. Some of the walls have cracks between the boards. None of the boards are popping loose. Each one is nailed; some just have huge cracks between them. When I try to paint it, the paint runs down between the cracks. Is there a special kind of sealer or caulk that is used for this type of wall? If so, is it paintable or must I keep all the walls white?
Answer:
Use paintable caulk for the wide cracks. (It works GREAT. Then prime with a roller with long shag pile. (You might need to use a brush if the roller doesn't get into some spots.) Then paint with a brush.Make sure it's the right paint for the room - if it's a kitchen or bath, make sure the paint is water resistant. Lesson learned for me - Don't skimp on the Primer.

Friends and Work are the best way to start out and spread word of mouth. Try church and school fairs where you can buy a table for the day. $10-$50/day The Craft Fairs/Festivals are usually a lot more expensive and you sometimes need to provide pictures of your work to apply. Etsy.com is a great way to put your stuff on the internet.

Question : How to make my natural hair with my beaded in extensions less noticeable?
I just got beaded in extensions the other day. I did curl it last night and it looked really great but some days I want go more natural but my problem I don't have super long hair its about medium length but it is just so hard to keep my natural hair not noticeable And since I have thin hair I don't know they feel really thin bc of how thin my hair is naturally. Both of those things have this in common: theyre only made from string and wire and beads! Is it possible to make a dress like that? It seems tedious. And yeah, it'd be sheer and see-through so id wear a mini dress under.

Question : Will a beaded curtain keep a dragonfly out of the house?
Had a rather large dragonfly enter the house today through the back door which I had left open. I don't like dragonflies and so promptly left the room, closing the door, leaving my dog to deal with it. Luckily he chased it out, but I've been too scared to leave the door open again. Would a beaded curtain hung over the door be enough to keep the dragonfly out?

Sure, they may not be 'fashionable' but it keeps most flying insects out; a dragonfly will definitely not want to risk damaging its wings. Dragonflies are beautiful, though and won't hurt you :-)

Question : What is the best string to use for the beaded animal keychains?
I would like to do those little beaded animal keychains, but I am unsure as to what string I should use. I tried to use nylon crochet thread, but the ends fray. Is there a better string to use that wouldn't fray? I'm not the biggest fan of that plastic lanyard string either.

I understand the problem you are having, I hate trying to tie knots in any type of plastic or nylon cord. One suggestion is regular crochet cotton or even embroidery floss (use all 6 strands).
