* Our Inspired by Twilight Engagement Ring: Bella's Wedding Ring - Silver was created to resemble the ring as described in Eclipse! * We polled fans on our blog to determine if this design was the best - results were split but over half of the entries were in favor of this style! * Face of the ring is a "long oval, set with slanting rows of glittering round stones", just like the quote from the book! * Sterling silver forms a "fragile web" around the faux diamonds and surrounds the bezel set center stone. * Split band supports the long, narrow shape of the ring and makes for a comfortable fit. * Available in sterling silver or gold plated (book notes the ring as being gold, so go for the gold plated version if authenticity is important!) This item arrives in our premium Twilight themed gift box at no extra charge! Matte black box has shiny inlaid tree design. Perfect for presents - no gift wrap required! Pretty - Love It

I have no interest in Twilight but bought this ring because I found it pretty. It arrived very quickly from the seller and I am very pleased with it! Like the other reviews have mentioned, I do wish it was more sparkly but it is still eye-catching on my hand. It's super-comfortable, as I forget that I have it on. The detailed oval design looks antique and very attractive when worn. If you prefer sparkly, blingy rings, then it's not for you. But if you do like a unique design that stands out, I recommend it.

Yeah, it was a good deal

I got the ring as a Birthday present from my boyfriend. He obviously knows I like twilight and he did a good job. The ring looks a little cheap in the picture but I was very satisfied with it. It's not massive and it even looks dainty on my hand. I like the sparkle and even got asked if it was an engagement ring. I really like it a lot. I got a size 5 and it's true to the size. I would have never thought it would have been so pretty in comparison with the picture. I'm worried that the metal will be cheap but I'll find out and let you know. Theres a lot of stones too.. I'm scared they'll fall out...but so far so good. :-) I would get it again.

so pretty!

I love this ring! It's super comfortable and I love how it looks. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that one of the stones fell out of it the second day I wore it. No biggie though, I'm the only one who can tell.

Artois the Goat Artois the Goat
Price : $24.95 $9.99

Editorial Review :

Lab technician Virgil Gurdies embarks on an epic quest to create the greatest goat cheese the world has ever known, and reclaim the heart of his beloved Angie. She has taken a new job in Detroit and to follow her means signing his life over to his soul-sapping career in artificial flavor additives. To stay behind and pursue his newfound passion for fine artisanal goat cheese, is to risk losing her forever. Despite his lack of resources, experience, or basic competency in the field of agriculture, Virgil heads for the hills (literally) with a felonious German baker, a grave- digging hermit, and a tiny white goat named Artois. With Angie awaiting his imminent return and a conference of the International Cheese Consortium just a few months away, he has no choice but to go for broke. Throw away everything he has on a gamble: That, before it is too late, he can craft a cheese that will change the world. A cheese that will buy him a new life. A cheese of destiny.

Customer Review :

great movie and lots of fun

When the main character seeks the secret of perfect cheese, he seems to find the secret to life and love. I thought this movie was funny and beautifully filmed in and around (I think), Texas, and has some imaginative direction and characters. This movie is definitely for the indie fan and has been in several film festivals. My rec: get it!

Cheesy & fun comedy!

1 Disc Widescreen Edition, being released July 27, 2010

"Artois the Goat" was written and directed by Cliff and Kyle Bogart. It is a comedy about lab technician Virgil struggling with his desire to be with his true love, Angie meaning he would have to move to Detroit and accept another boring job and his self-actualization quest to become a goat cheese farmer and impress her with his creativity.

This film is a very endearing, amusing, and sometimes surreal and dreamlike. Virgil played by Mark Scheibmeir is a wide-eyed dreamer who gets excited about exotic flavors of cheese the way someone might if they found buried pirate gold. Luckily his girlfriend, Angie played by Sydney Andrews is a perfect match for him and shares his passion. She too is more thrilled by opening a mysterious box and finding cheese than if it had contained an engagement ring. Unfortunately her family is of a non-dairy frame of mind and with Angie's job transferring her to Detroit, they are all too happy to see the couple separated thinking she can do better.

This movie literally IS cheesy in many points, but uproariously so! The absurdity of the seriousness of cheese-making, trying to live with a goat in his apartment, and the lengths he goes to in order to be an artist and create are very funny and at the same time sweetly inspiring.

Scheibmeir is perfect as the adorable nerdy underdog who has been beaten down by the system squandering away his ambitious side for too long. He is so innocent and determined in his quest that the audience can't help but internally cheer him on in his pursuit of greatness. Virgil's inspiration stems from a book written by a famous cheese maker who narrates and guides him in his mission to make the best cheese...ever.

Artois the Goat happens to be the first goal the character Virgil meets planting the seed of his later goals. Artois and the other goats are so cute, animal-lovers will just eat this up.

Virgil has a best friend, Yens played by Stephen Taylor Fry counseling him and giving advice on cheese-making being a cheese snob himself who has smuggled illegal cheeses in the past and paranoidly believes a strange man across the street in a clown wig to be a member of the FDA out to get him. Stephen Taylor Fry's commitment to the worship of cheese as an art form reaches heights of utter hilarity as you question the level of delusion he might be operating under.

I highly recommend checking this film out if you want a night of quirky, silly comedy about a man, his goats, his cheese, and ultimately trying to win his woman for good.

An Enjoyable, Forgettable, Film

Artois the Goat is a quirky, independent film, that is enjoyable to watch, that I will probably not remember in six months.

The first half of the film is reasonably good. There is a nice chemistry between Virgil and Angie. The early on picnic scene is wonderful and sets up for a revisit much later in the film. But Virgil is a bit strange; he's a laboratory assistant for a person that develops flavors. He is a bit Bartleby. He is also a cheese lover and buys raw cheese on the black market. One day his cheese dealer sells him a book on cheese making. Virgil decides to give it all up, move to the country, buy two goats, and make the perfect goat cheese. He does all this without telling Angie. The film turns awkward as the inevitable happens. Actually the film jumps the shark when we see Virgil talking with a grave digger fanatic sitting fully clothed on the toilet.

There is an homage to Bergman, The Seventh Seal, that is over played. The photography is well done, in focus, nice colors, and good framing (although the director doesn't do much with dramatic framing, he prefers most shots with the character front and centered in the frame). The scenery is lovely. The goats are cute. The acting is pretty good. Angie was the stand out. Virgil was at times compelling and believable, and other times just annoying. By far the most annoying was Yens, the black market cheese dealer. I felt like he was doing a film in High School and dressed up like an adult, there wasn't an authentic feeling to his character.

The film is not rated. I would imagine PG-13 is not far off from reasonable. There was no nudity, I don't remember much strong language, and there was no drug or alcohol use. It is a fairly innocent film.

I love to support independent film. Sometimes working within a small budget can produce wonderful films. Sometimes it produces middle of the road films. I was not blown over by this film, nor did I hate it. With a little better cast, and maybe a script that didn't try so hard to be different, the directors / writers will make a great next film.

Sterling Silver Claddagh Celtic Knot Ring, Size 7 Sterling Silver Claddagh Celtic Knot Ring, Size 7
Price : $34.00 $19.99

Editorial Review :

This sterling silver ring combines a traditional Irish claddagh symbol with a Celtic love knot design. The hands and heart of the claddagh are meant to symbolize friendship and love respectively, while the crown represents loyalty. The interwoven knot design is a symbol of unity and interconnectedness. This flattering ring has a cut-out design and is fashioned in a combination of polished and oxidized silver. It makes a beautiful gift for someone you cherish, or a nice addition to your Celtic collection.

Revision on a previous positive review :(

While I will still give kudos on the fact that the ring arrived in a very timely matter and in great condition, I do have to retract some stars for the product quality. At first, I was overjoyed at the product, however upon further inspection I don't feel quite the same.

The image on the site gives the ring a more sturdy, subdued appearance. Almost an antique look. If it had in fact arrived as such, I would have been very pleased. However, the ring that arrived was overly shiny, giving it a cheesy, "fake" appearance. The ring is sturdy, but you wouldn't know it by its appearance. And since this was a gift for a man, I didn't think it would be appropriate. It looked like a piece of costume jewelry from a "Who Wants to be a Gigolo" box set.

After going to a few local jewelers, I found that the reason for this overly glossy appearance was some sort of plating/coating that was on the outside of the ring. There is no mention of this plating in the product description. In addition to making the ring look cheap, this plating also prevents the owner from getting the ring re-sized. That can be a hassle in and of itself.

I still presented this ring as a gift to my boyfriend and let him make the ultimate decision of keeping it or opting for a new one. He decided to opt for a different ring ( I also purchased the new one on Amazon). THAT ring arrived and it's fantastic! We are both very pleased with it. This ring will unfortunately remain in the bottom of the jewelry box until the neighborhood children need a prop ring to play Lord of the Rings with. Just sayin.

I purchased this ring for my wonderful Goddaughter for 3/17/2010. She is very selective as to jewelry. According to her Mom, she wears the ring everyday. I did explain the meaning of the ring to her. The hands are for friendship, the heart for love and the crown for loyalty.

So I'm having an engagement party and my colors are brown and orange for the fall. I would like to do a very simple favor to give out. It's only close friends and family; max. 25 people. I want to punch holes in ring pops and tie a cute little piece of paper that says our names and wedding date with a brown ribbon. Is this cheesy It's not a wedding favor, so I'm def. not going all out, but I'm not creative.Any suggestions
