Intriguing jewelry
The book was intriguing and as I read it, I thought it doable, but after going
through all the patterns, they seemed repetitious and not as easy as
promised.

I found this book very stimulating for the creation of new jewelry and other items. The instructions were relatively easy to read and the finished projects are elegant. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to go a new direction (and make items that people really want) with their knitting and crocheting.

This book definitely has style!
I was pleasantly surprised when I started looking through this book. It's filled with some of the most beautiful and original knitted and crochet jewelry I've ever seen. You don't need to be an expert at knitting, crochet or jewelry making to be successful with the projects in this book. Each one is easy to understand and follow with detailed supply lists and helpful "need to know" tips included with each project. You'll find an extensive list of resources in the back and something that I found very helpful that I've not seen before: a list of sources by project. This book definitely elevates the art of knit and crochet jewelry to a new level.

bought book cuz i liked her patterns on knitty but the ones in the book were not as interesting to me, maybe i just need to try some projects. as a reference to materials its great

If you need some Inspiration, this book is it!
This is not your Grandma's knitting, crocheting or designing jewelry book. The instructions are clear with lots of illustrations. I never heard of silk stainless steel yarn, but am actively Googling to find out where I can purchase a skein. The projects are very modern and fresh...and you won't find this jewelry in the open air markets. A good choice!

Question : I was caught shoplifitng. No cops were involved but I have to pay civil recovery fee
I am a 20 yrs old in southern california. I was caught shoplifting in JCPenney.. Stupid idea.. i know.. i feel soooo embrassed and will not ever do it again...It was a 20 dollar earing that i have taken without paying.the security stopped me and i was taken to his office to sign these civil demand papers. I was so scared at that second I did not have the full chance to read what i was signing.It was a pretty simple document. It just said I (my name) on this date this time was caught stealing an item for 20 dollars and little more of something that i have not read.. I was freaking out and the security have told me " I could of easily called the police on you but I wont. Because what you stole isnt even worth it. I hope you learn from this mistake and never do it again" then i was released about 30 minutes after... I told him thank you with tears and walked out of the store.. now My question is..I am worried what can happen next. After researching I was not able to find around how much the civil recovery fee was going to be.. I hope its nothing over 500 dollars... another thing worries me.. is that No pplice was called but from researching online.. that they COULD have the police involved AFTER i pay the civil recovery fee... I am soooo scared...oh yea forgot to ask.. when i asked the security what civil demand was he said its a document basically saying JCpenny can SUE me... is that what civil recovery demand is basically being sued for how much the recovery damages are or does it mean they can have police involved later.... please help me.....Danny,,,I am a female and yes there was a female witness in the office with us... the paper did not state how much the fee was going to be. i even asked him and he said he is not sure. that the recovery department will decide... help help.. i m in desperate help...
Answer:
JCPenney is not going to spend a lot of time or money taking action against you. They recovered their merchandise. Just don't do it again and you should be fine.
