I purchased this ultrasonic cleaner for my wife as a Christmas gift. After reading all the reviews, I decided on the CD-2800. It has been used regularly, and we could not be happier. Does what it is advertised to do. Her wedding rings are always as clean or cleaner than when done at the jewelry store. Good build quality and simple to use. I love this cleaner. I have tons of lia sophia jewelry and you are not supposed to use chemicals to clean it - I use a drop of jewelry cleaner with hot water and my jewelry sparkles like new.

Affordable, does the job

Does what it says, is affordable, and useful in our home (jewelry, watches, eyeglass frames). Just use caution when trying to clean inexpensive, coated metal that is painted or plated or whatever (not sure what to call it)... it WILL remove the outer layer of "silver" using just water and a few drops of dish soap!
