I purchased this ultrasonic cleaner for my wife as a Christmas gift. After reading all the reviews, I decided on the CD-2800. It has been used regularly, and we could not be happier. Does what it is advertised to do. Her wedding rings are always as clean or cleaner than when done at the jewelry store. Good build quality and simple to use. If you are in the market for an ultrasonic cleaner for jewelry, this is a good one.

Affordable, does the job

Does what it says, is affordable, and useful in our home (jewelry, watches, eyeglass frames). Just use caution when trying to clean inexpensive, coated metal that is painted or plated or whatever (not sure what to call it)... it WILL remove the outer layer of "silver" using just water and a few drops of dish soap!

Great earing organizer!

We originally bought this as a present for my sister in law, but my wife liked it so much that I had to get another one for her. The Amazon packaging was really good, it came in a tight box, the material feels sturdy, this is high quality acrylic, it has plenty of space for hanging earrings and necklaces. I would recommend it!

Intriguing product

I liked the product very much. I wanted something but yet affordable to display my earrings, and make them accessible for every day use. I got exactly this with the product. Shipment was fast, and customer service was friendly when I called to inquire how my item was getting shipped to a different state for delivery. They fixed the problem right away and I had the item the next day. It works very well for all times of earrings. And its very easy to close it up with the earrings still on it if you have to move.

I'm not hot about the item, but the sellers are great!

I bought this product in 2009. I am not super impressed with it since it fell apart on me after about 2 weeks. But...it looks like mine was a fluke. Everyone else seems to be very happy with theirs. Anyway, I never pursued a refund or anything like that. I just ate the cost and wrote a negative comment. Someone at Shining Image found my comment and took immediate action. They contacted me and offered me a full refund, which I received today! I am very happy to get that back, and while I may not take another chance on the box, I would be willing to buy from Shining Image again someday. If they are selling anything else, I know that I can give it a try risk-free!

Overall, Nice Jewelry Box

The jewelry box arrived much earlier than I expected. I am very pleased with its appearance, though I should have read carefully that it is made of both real and synthetic leather (the untrained eye cannot tell that it is fake-- don't be concerned with that). There is lots of space and is a great place to keep your nicer pieces of jewelry. My only real complaint is that the sides that open up with hooks for necklaces are not long enough to hang a strand of pearls without having to have them coiled at the bottom (which is why I wanted the hook). However, most necklaces should fit laying down without too much bending/coiling.

I absolutely love this jewelry case. There are several compartments to organize all your items and you still have room left over. Great quality. I'd definitely recommend this item to each and every one of you. Company sent the item fast and I received it within a couple of days. Packaged so that there was no damage upon arrival.

Decent Product-- Poor service

The Jewelry box is nice. The only thing I dislike is the picture was misleading about how it would look. The very bottom piece doesn't slide out, it folds up and completely covers all the drawers unless you have it wide open. It's more like a little suitcase than anything else.

The problem was that it took 2 full weeks for my product to arrive. Then I opened it and it was something else. They sent me the wrong item. I emailed them to let them know and after several emails explaining they sent me the WRONG Thing they aggreed to send me my item. It took another two weeks. Then another week for them to send me shipping label to return the first item. It was terrible service. Not recommended for anyone.

Came on time. Nice, great price. But if you pop the top open too fast or hard, the "suede" mirror top unglues and falls down. I was disappointed but the seller responded to my complaint right away and suggested a fix. All in all, I'm quite happy with the product.

The Best

Another reviewer said her relative who is a professional jeweler only uses this cloth on silver. That's why I tried it and does an awesome cleaning job without a lot of effort. I bought an inexpensive diamond "chips" ring set in sterling. It has a floral detail in the design with a lot of tweeny weeny crevices. The oxidation in the setting took away from the beauty of the diamond chips. I cleaned it with this cloth and the ring looks much better than when I purchased it. The ring sparkles now. It completely cleaned in all those crevices and tiny bead settings. The cloth even continues to clean when it is "dirty". I getting ready to purchase some more.

Pros and Cons

I have only used this cloth to clean my silver jewelry (mostly necklaces and pendants).

Pro:
-cleans better than the baking soda/hot water method. Actually made my jewelry SHINE instead of just appearing silver-white.

Cons:
-Residue from the cloth gets on the hands (I'm not talking about tarnish). I assume the feeling is from whatever they treated the cloth to make it take off tarnish. But still, I feel the need to wash my hands with ample soap after every cleaning.
-Polishing the detailing and crevices on pendants requires dedication and dexterity. Small fingers or creative use of fingernails also help.
-doesn't clean delicate chains as well as I like, since the method I use is by pulling my silver chains against the cloth. Just feels like I'll break the chain if I pull too hard. However, box chains and snake chains can definitely survived this method of cleaning.

Other:
-While the cloth is effective in getting rid of tarnish, out of curiosity, I tested it with new silver chains that I had just bought. The same black streaks showed up on the cloth, as if the chains were tarnished. The only explanation I have is that the cloth is taking off invisible tarnish or dirt and not just randomly reacting to the silver... This experiment shows that the cloth can't be your indicator that you've polished off all the tarnish. The only gauge for that is your eyes.

Excellent Value

My 14k gold bracelet was looking a little dull. I have polished it in the past using my Dremel tool/polishing wheel and jeweler's rouge which did an excellent job. This cloth works almost as well for restoring a mirror like shine. For all but scratches this cloth does a fine job of restoring the luster. Note: I've only used this cloth on a 14k gold curb link bracelet.

Remarkable *Polishing* Cloth!

The SUNSHINE POLISHING CLOTH is fantastic! I bought it because I purchased some silver jewelry that suggests using a polishing cloth rather than a liquid or wax silver cleaner and this little cloth really cleans.

I used the cloth on a pair of silver bangle bracelets that had tarnished while in storage, you know just to test it out, and as soon as I started gently rubbing the tarnish came off and the silver was sparkling like new. I was amazed that this could be done without some form of detergent or silver polishing cream.

The SUNSHINE CLOTH comes in a cardboard holder that looks like an envelop, to store when not in use. There are no instructions but all you have to do is rub with the dry cloth and the tarnish gets wiped away.

I don't think that the cloth can be washed once it becomes really dirty but it looks like that will take many, many cleanings for that to happen. I'm glad I found these!

There are better ones

Due to its small size, the cloth is relatively good at cleaning a few small items, i.e. spoons and the like. Ok for lightly tarnished small items when done with lots of rubbing. Yet, it very quickly absorbs the tarnish and is not longer effective. (And, yes, the tarnish does get on your hands.) I suggest spending a bit more and getting a larger size. Regardless of product claims, once these cloths gets 'goopy', give 'em up.

Great Product For The Price!

I really like to St. Jude bracelet but you have to be careful not to stretch it so far because it's not real jewelery quality. Everyone that I know that is not a Twilight fan love the look of the Turquoise bracelet. The only thing I'm disappointed about is the bulkiness of the Opal ring jewel. It really big compare to what a standard Opal jewel looks like. But it's most likely that way because it not real jewelery, it is a 'toy'. I still recommend to anyone who a Bella/ Twilight fan that not into wanting the really thing. Great price for it coming as a set.

No. I'd go with a white tank or white cami. I think dark jeans with a dark top is horrid. Never put black on top of black.

Pipe cleaners. There are basically two kinds. The regular and Bristle. To do a proper cleaning make sure to get both. Do you drink? If so, most any whiskey will work. Soak the ends of your Bristle pipe cleaners and give it a good run through or two. Use the regular ones until they come out clean.Tamper. Most anything can be used as a tamper, even the head of a nail. I've even used cigarette butts. I have never spent money on an actual tamper.A simple pocket knife can be used if the cake build up gets too great. Come to think of it I've been using a small letter opener lately.Mason jars. The process is called cellaring. It is the aging of tobacco. Yes, tobacco can age like wine when stored properly. It can smooth out the rough edges and become more mellow. Something you don't really care for right now may become your favorite smoke in a year. Mason jars are a must. Sealed tobacco can store for many years.Corn cob pipes. Why would you need these when you've got a fancy pipe? Cobs are often used when trying out new tobaccos. You don't want to put something in your regular pipe that might leave a ghost behind. I bought a blend a few weeks ago that was so heavy on the Latakia it was all I could smell or taste for a few days. That cob still has a strong smell of it even now. You'd better believe I'll keep that stuff in a jar for a few years before trying it again. If you are a heavy smoker, (more than 4 bowels a day), you should let your pipe rest for a bit. With a cob you really don't have to worry about it. If a hundred dollar pipe cracks from overuse you will be sad. If a four dollar cobs breaks you just get another one and don't worry about it.

What accessories are best to put in a goldfishes fish tank to keep them entertained? I have plants but nothing else. Is that enough? Do they like hiding in toy shipwrecks etc?

Most of the decorations are for the owner's benefit more than the fish's. They'll tear up live plants - they may eat them as well. No matter what I put in the tank, mine have always seemed to like entertaining themselves by mouthing the gravel more than anything I added!Just be careful that whatever you add, there are no sharp edges or rough spots. They like to "mouth" objects and will run into/against them when they get moving around at a good pace.
